Sunnygirl my dd is at the stage of getting out of her bed ALL the time its a nightmare esp at night when dd1 is also trying to get to sleep.....
Putting her in the travel cot seems to have helped. She cried and cried and when I went into her she kept saying 'ded...ded' (which is 2 year old talk for bed!lol ). So I put her back in bed and she went to sleep straight away. Think I'll keep the cot up for the next few days as a deterrent! Only problem is that she is now fast asleep and I'm going to have to wake her to do school run.:mad:
Perhaps DH will sweep and mop tonight while I'm out. I'm going salsa dancing with SIL!0 -
I'm back online! I made DS1 come home for lunch, so he could set up the computer again (yes, I do know how to do it, but I'm terribly slow!).
dusty - I have passed on your congrats to DD! Also chunters - thank you for remembering!
AnW's mum - hugs from me too.
I have a beautiful cream carpet!!!
Just a bit excited about that! I have spent the rest of the day cleaning things before I put them back in. Unfortunately, on checking the care label for the sofa covers, they can't be tumbled, and it's not the right weather at the moment to have wet sofa covers everywhere. I'll have to wait for a good drying day.
If I'm at home tomorrow, then I'll make a start on making the curtains. Pics when I've finished.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Thank you SarahShattered for getting me up and moving....I have at least got my kitchen back to it's base state again ( I shouldn't have left the poor room alone with four men this morning
)

Look forward to seeing the pics Serena bet it looks fab!
Had to stop early cause durr brain here went and did the kitchen floor when I hadn't fiished the rest of the list for the kitchen :rolleyes: so I've cleared all the washing and taken it upstairs and had a bit tidy round the dining/pc/spare room too, will have to wait till the floor dries to do the cutlery drawer and the filters, I did however have the sense to clean the window first lol0
