    Afternoon all :)

Lovely day here, sunny and not too cold but I don't have enough washing for a load.

I vacuummed the living room, hallway, kitchen and stairs.

Went over to the chemist, newsagent (to pay the paper bill) and the vets, to get dog's medicines (£90.47!)

    Watched Corrie.

Then I went into the little bedroom and did a bit more emulsioning where I don't think DH covered it well enough.
I've had the sense not to tell him that though!

    Cooking dinner now.

    Happy Anniversary Gerturdeanna:T

Hope you get sorted out at the dentist Triker.

    Welcome Restaholic

  • Hi,

hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. So far today I've done errands. My aims for tyhe rest of the day are to do more errands, alaundry & tidy up. We applied for a community care grant in mid-December, to buy some furniture for the bungalow, but have not heard anything yet, so can't buy any storage furniture & have not got a bed for the 2nd bedroom so parts of the bungalow are still a tip  Rang the ccg grant people this morning who said that a decision should be made in the next couple of days. It's just frustrating
  • Extra special Happy Anniversary wishes Gerturdeanna

Nearly forgot about the 'flying' bit:o

    Vacuumed through house.
Decluttered two suits to join the trousers and skirts (at least they were only Primarni so I don't feel so bad about them)

Akkkkk.......I can't even SEE my worksurfaces! Nice Boiler Man is back again today, the cats have got cabin-fever, the gas is turned off and the old boiler is in bits while he connects up the new one (installed but not commissioned yesterday).
I had to come into the office because NatWest messed up and none of my staff got paid today  - turns out there was a glitch on Bankline. Not good from the point of staff morale at the moment. Thanks, NatWest!
Got everyone paid by CHAPS and an assurance that the £15 per CHAPS payment would be refunded (with 12 employees I should darn well think so!) as it was NatWest's fault. Just finishing a few bits here and then will go home and check out what I CAN do re: Flying.

Just a quick post to sort out my list. Hope everyone's well today, and Triker, I hope you're not going out of your mind. (((sympathy)))

    I've been busy decluttering today.
I have 1 bin bag for freecycle,
1 bin bag for second hand, and
1 bin bag for throwing away.
Woo hoo. Now I just need that lot out of sight, before people start rumaging!

    Hi everyone...

Have been getting on with it slowly but surely... master bedroom is always tricky as OH works from there so I'm doing that a little bit at a time when he has his breaks, as by the time evening comes round I never feel like doing it!! :o

    Still to do:

    HHI
Make tuna pasta bake for dinner
    nip to shop
finish bits not crossed off above list
    S&S bathroom

I did a menu planner yesterday and OH was looking through it and asked me what S&S Chicken was... without thinking I said swish and swipe!! His face was a picture trying to conjure up in his mind what on earth swish and swipe chicken could be.. until I realised I meant Sweet and Sour!!! :o :rotfl:

Hope everyone ok.. time for lunch and then back to it
