Well my tentative flying plan for today is completely grounded I fear now. I am going to niece's class assembly as her mum and dad at work and my mum and dad are doing last bits of packing. Need to be at blood donors for 11.45 and then taking Mum and Dad for train just after 2. Back just in time for school run at 2.55! Then pick Miss A up from her friends at 4.30. Will do a few bits in the minutes I am here in between, starting with a :coffee: any one want to join me? Got some rice krispie crunchies to go with it ;)

da da de da da daaa da.... I went to bed at 10.15pm and slept until 6am... :j :j :j :j :j (would have been 7am but dogs started barking as neighbour couldn't get their car started, and were making a racket outside...)

Still a bit tired, but hopefully I'm back on track now... thank god!

Congratulations. I failed totally AGAIN!! I think I might have to follow your example (preferably on a day when I'm not working...) otherwise it'll just keep on going like this!

    Good morning

    Happy birthday Mr DeniseNZ
galantvr4 when did you sneak back in? Lovely to see you back! You can post messages via the email addy durham_freecycle@yahoogroups.com aswell as using the website
AnW'sMum sounds like an amazing trip for your parents, hope they have a great time

Morning all, had to drop DS1 to school aswell this morning, more taxi problems, starting to wind me up a little now.

Well the varnish we got for the wood is wrong, we got 'walnut' and it's too light, any painting experts know if 'deep mahogany' is darker (and more redish) because it doesn't look it on the website but seems to be the only other dark one, darn it! Can see this getting on my nerves trying to get a close colour.

Got a lot to do but also a 'free' ish day with no meetings etc which is great! So going to discuss with DP (who pulled another piece out of his mouth last night so is having a bit of a moan) about some sort of action plan.
One day I might be more organised...........

:hello: Hello. Of course you can join us. I'll leave our resident meeter and greeter Toots to do the proper intro for you. But if you want to make a start then today's list is on page one of the thread.

Just start with Level one and if you feel like doing Level two etc carry on. If not, don't worry the lists always come round again next week.
  • Good morning All!

I am in this week, my computer has been broken - I had a horrible virus - but is all fixed now. I have been trying to do my best, but always get left behind! Oh well, onwards and upwards!

    Dailies
[strike]Get out of bed and hit the ground flying![/strike]
    Make the bed
    [strike]Have a glass of water[/strike]
    Get Showered / Dressed
    S&S Bathroom
    [strike]Take DS1 to bathroom[/strike]
    Take down dirty laundry/mugs/glasses/dirty nappies
    [strike]Make DS1s bed[/strike]
    Make DS2s bed
    [strike]Give DS2 Milk & Nappy change[/strike]
    Give DS2 breakfast
    Check the calendar
    What's for dinner?
    Put away dishes
    Recycling
    Empty WM
    Put a load WM on
    Empty TD
    Put TD on
    HAVE BREAKFAST
    Put away Laundry
    Get DS1 dressed
    Get DS2 dressed
    Give DS2 a snack
    Nursery run

After my dailies, I'm gonna try and do up to Level 2 this week. So my list looks like this:

Monday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level One
    Strip and wash sheets
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets
    Level Two
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    Wash windows

    2. HHI
Tuesday - kitchen and dining mess
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Level Two
Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there..
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor

    Extras
    1. Clean filters and detergent dispensers
Right must give DS2 some breakfast!
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:
