Typical... I've been looking for a new bed & mattress, and a new kitchen table for ages. I've now found both... in the sales... and I've now got to work out whether I can afford them!

My parents are going to take an offcut of my kitchen flooring to the showroom where the table is tomorrow. They've been told there is one in stock, and that as it is made in france prices will go up 30% next month, so I guess if the colour works, I should get it.

As for the bed... I need to work out whether I need a medium firm or extra-firm mattress before I can make up my mind! Looking at the alternatives for sustainable beds & organic mattresses it certainly looks like a VERY good deal.

Looks like I need to sort my money out properly at the weekend ;)

Off to clean my teeth and go to bed... late again as usual :o but I AM currently tired, although that my change when I get into bed...
  • There, couldn't be left out could I. Some bits of flying done to day, not as much as I would like, but, I have to accept that I can't do what I use to do. Visit with EW went well, mentioned about Ed Statement for DD2, seems to think that it isn't likely to happen. DD2 is Very clever - particularly in what she's interested/obsessed with science, maths and music being her strongest subjects (typical ASD subjects) She's very high functioning but her main problems are anxiety and adaptation so this can be a bit of a nightmare in class (home as well but I'm pretty good at handling it now). So in September she goes up to high school, I'm dreading it, I think she is going to struggle with the amount of children, behaviour and all the other things that happen there. No doubt see the EW next January as well :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh well we'll just have to wait and see what happens:D

MOAM77 wow, what a day you had!!! Sound like the only fly ladying you should be doing is finishing stuff off like a bottle of wine:rotfl:

    Hi
Just skimmed thru, you lot can chat!! Think happy birthdays and big hugs are in order, and thanks for your suggestions on freecycle for a microwave, have tried before but not sure if my comp doesn't like the site or vice versa-will have another go.

Didn't get to start the living room as DH came home early and stopped all progress, tho we did make some paper logs with our new toy-will let you know how they burn.

I put on 1/2 lb at WW tonite, has made me more determined to get back on track-have to lose 22lbs in the next 18 weeks!! not an impossible task but a very disciplined one-and I will do it!

so see you all in the morn

    night xx

    Morning all

Am tired. Had a disturbed night as the Police Helicopter was up and about for quite a while in the wee small hours. It must have been circling because it kept going away and coming back again.

Will tackle the kitchen when I get home.
