Thanks for the avatar info flower -took ages - would not accept any I chose but I got there in the end by saving it to my pics and then uploading.
dusty thanks for the link - fraid worms are not for me but have saved the idea for my DB and SIL - it would make a great Christmas present!
Hope the pain subsides - I have had that a couple of times and its not nice.
mudbath I have to agree with you on the "being sensible is poo" thing !!! I have to keep reminding myself I have to be sensible!
Why not rent a caravan - like flower said - try before you buy!
mozzy - hope the aches are gone tomorrow - well done though and 'yes' when I have done this job you can pick the next number.:rotfl:
julu hugs for you and DH - hope he finds something else - at least now he knows whats happening.
ragz awh a lovely proud mummy moment - and huge hugs for all the rest - good reason to cuddle up to DH to keep warm!! - hope it gets sorted quickly!
serena congrats to DD - thats great - hope the carpet laying goes well tomorrow and dont be overdoing it - it will be lovely to get things back where they belong.
help your self to the list idea - I am hoping it works - I am not really worried about rewarding myself - it will be good just to see the list being crossed out and finally freeing up some time/space for me - I am hoping to have the 80 jobs done by the end of April. Not sure how do-able that is but I thought it was better to have a deadline of sorts.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Hi everyone,
Got in from work at 7 & didnt really feel like doing anything but ate tea which DH had ready ,helped DS with homework got him organised in his bath & into bed & whilst he was doing that have changed the main bedroom bedding & washed the mattress protector & hoovered the mattress (as I was told to last week!) have also dusted & hoovered the bedroom as I thought I cant start slacking on only my 2nd week.
will have to leave the landing until tomorrow -its DS's job to do the hall stairs & landing really but we all forgot about it this weekend so I will give it a quick dust & then remind him to do it again at the weekend0 -
i did it!!!!
i actually went to the gym!!!
Well done!!!! Nothing like starting with something gentle
I made it to yoga and stayed for Pilates, just catching up on the thread while waiting for supper to cook. But I'm not tired... hopefully if I potter about after I've eaten (I need to be organised tomorrow as I'm in Winchester for the evening - 2.5 hours of 'Understanding the Primary Curriculum') so won't be back until 10ish... I think I'll have to take a packed supper as well as lunch!)
Great idea on the numbers toots!
Triker - OH is right, you need to go back to the dentist, even if it's just for reassurance that its progressing as it should.
Flower - hope you're holding out OK. Don't worry... its nearly bedtime now :rotfl:
soappie - sorry to hear about your job... hopefully something will come up, either where you are or somewhere new and exciting!
dusty - I don't use quidco, so don't know how Natural Collection do, but make sure you make a fuss if there's a problem!
MoF77 - your parcel should be with you tomorrow. Hope it makes you feel better after your busy day
Valli - if you want some help/advice sorting out your software licences, shout. That's what I do... all the time... with 7 people to help... I'll try to find the dilbert for it, just so you know what you're up against
Off to eat, then back to find my list...0 -
Flower....http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1384751
Lets see if that works...it's on the debt free board and is called payment a day (2). It's very friendly. I've sat down and worked out if we carry on saving the amount of money i'm throwing at the cards we could buy a caravan in May and only miss April for caravaning. My DH is amazed i'm not flinging it straight on the plastic!!! xx
Fantastic, thanks for the link Mudbath - can you not carry on throwing it at the plastic and then use that to buy the caravan to bring down interest? or is it 0% Either way, enjoy your hols, you deserve the break this year...:Tmumofjusttwo wrote: »Flower would you still like to met for a cuppa?
I'm in Stanford tomorrow, got to clean out under some stairs in the club, then meet someone in Grays to go see a house I will be decorating, but I can meet up before the club if you like, or after the club but before meeting in Grays or after both, it's entirely up to you if you're free that is?
I know you have the kids to think of, so let me know what time is best for you - anything to cut clearing out the clubs cupboard would be great!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I seem very popular at the moment - obviously not the real world then!!!then it's DS's parents evening:o still his PE teacher is very [strike]cute[/strike] articulate and up to speed with developments...
Was going to post my list, but will do that in the morning now...
Have been watching new series of 24, but now really tired, so am going to go to bed to read my new library book - 'how I lived a year on just a pound a day' mmmm, maybe this site is beginning to control me... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm in again this week:j
Sorry I fell off the flying and thread wagon about the middle of last week. I caught up on some of the flying at the weekend but not the thread.
I've not got into the habit of jotting down the replys I want to make to everyone yet and by the time I get to replying I know that I want to say:
Good luck an oh waiting to hear about a job
Hope the toothache gets better soon - horrible, horrible pain
I'm glad the poorly cat is better and feeling more like him?self
Healing vibes for your MIL
Congratulations on the Maths GCSE
But I can not remember who I should be saying these things too:D I'm sure I'll get better at it;)
Flying - I've achieved level 1 today and a couple of things out of 2 and 3 - had a committee meeting at the kids nursery straight after work today so did not get home until nearly 7pm.0
