    I'm in!

Laptop's messing about so only just made it on here after rather a long break. Hope everyone is well and happy, not going to attempt to cach up!

    Few announcements -
    - (Proud Mummy Moment) DS1 had his first day at pre-school today!
    - I finally bought and (OH) installed a smoke alarm! So can now join you in the weekly testing! *When I work out how!
    - I finished putting up the shoe rack I bought 3 weeks ago! 70 screws and many blisters later, only to find that it does not fit in either of the places I had planned for it!
    - MY BOILER BROKE THIS AFTERNOON SO I HAVE NO HEATING OR HOT WATER UNTIL I CAN GET THE LETTING AGENTS ON THE CASE TOMORROW, AND IT'S FRICK'N COLD!

House isn't too bad considering I've had no access to flylady for ages. Have got into the habit of always washing up and cleaning surfaces and cooker after every meal/end of every day so that at least thet room is tidy. I like coming dawnstairs to a clean kitchen in the morning.
Adjusted the list so far to fit in tomorrow...

Monday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level One
    Strip and wash sheets
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    Wash windows
    Vacuum floors

Tuesday - kitchen and dining mess

    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Wipe and replace small appliances
Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there.. ooohh nice one Pigpen, been looking at it since I started Flying again thinking it looks grubby!
Wipe the front of the units, kickboards and the large appliances
    Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe dining table and replace cloth if needed

Feeling a bit grim. I've had a sore jaw all day and I swallowed (no jokes please soappie) earlier and it clicked and sent a horrid shooting pain through my ear. It's hurting now so I've taken some ibup and I'm going to head off to bed

Night night Dusty - hope the ear's better v. soon. I'm off to bed as well imminently - as soon as the BM has finished. I feel the need to hibernate a bit. Have dug out the mags but need to get an envelope big enough!

To everyone else - stay safe, keep warm, and keep well.

    Night night all

    Soappie xx

Looking at that horrid subject of finances.....it's looking like we won't be getting a caravan this year. I think we have to get rid of the credit card first. If we wait until next year then we can save for the caravan....you know when you know it makes sense but you don't want to listen!!! That's me!!!! I don't want to camp his year due to my op but I know DH will still take the children away with friends so at least they won't do without a holiday. Being sensible is poo! xx

What about a caravan holiday where you rent one? at least you can 'try before you buy' kinda then????

As for the page going really wide, if it was your signature (haven't read that far, but notice you've removed your colourful payments), all you need do was put a space in there - its like when people have long names - the page starts further to the right, it just needs a space to make it go onto the next page (or next line in case of signatures), then you can keep your pretty coloured payments, which you should do so you can see what you have accomplished - :T well done by the way :T - is there a link to the thread you got the idea from or did you just think of it yourself?

hi rach sorry it took so long to post my half hour!
i have cleaned the dishes, cleaned out a cupboard, wiped my small appliances, emptied the bin, wiped down 2 doors, wiped the plinth at the top of the wall cupboards, wiped the lid of the bin, filled a bag of stuff to go upstairs and put the cover on the pram after i had washed it.
i was on a roll so i braved the cold and went to b&q carpark to take the recycling.
am sat having a brew and feeding the baby then i'll finish the ironing.

Lets see if that works...it's on the debt free board and is called payment a day (2). It's very friendly. I've sat down and worked out if we carry on saving the amount of money i'm throwing at the cards we could buy a caravan in May and only miss April for caravaning. My DH is amazed i'm not flinging it straight on the plastic!!! xx
