See post 1351 for my hoovering disaster. Think I'm going to head off to the gym as I'll never go if I don't go soon. I do my bedding on a Sunday too. Will do some more of my long list (not all of it is posted on here - I've got it in a word doc) when I get home if I have the energy.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Forgot to say that I put a load of washing on whilst I was in the kitchen which has decluttered the floor in there a bit cos I tend to sort into piles on the kitchen floor. Enjoy your coffee rach.

    Many thanks to you all.
I had a look at various sites and the airport is obviously not that near to Leeds.
Tia - thanks, but no way would I drive that distance. I'm not that keen on driving at the best of times and that distance would make me fit for nothing when I got there. Since I will probably have to stay at least one night (depending on what time the meeting is) I think the train will probably be my best option.
Again my thanks - you are a super bunch.

And I have been flying - trying to sort out my magazine collections so I can make space for this year's binders. And yes I have recycled some stuff.

I briefly lived and worked in Leeds half the time in my career b**ch days, the airport isn't that far out but just a pain to get to especially through commuter traffic - at least an hour on a bad day. Doesn't help that the signs and sat nav take you through the city centre. The railway station on the other hand is right in the middle of the city centre next to lots of bus routes and a taxi stand. Where do you need to be?

No cleaning, but lots of consturction/destruction so labouring now and plenty to do later.

I have hoovered through the LR ,hall and kitchen and hoovered and turned all the cushions on the sofa and chairs. Had a quick S+S in the kitchen but there are 1 or 2 hotspots in there that need dealing with, Will be doing them as part of the challenge on Monday, it will give me the motivation to flng rather than just keep moving it around!!!!!!!!
  • just popping in to say hi as I haven't even had time to lurk much lately. Trying to keep up with dailies - and a bit of extra - actually did HHI the other day - 1st since September - and that cleared the basket!! Need to clean the shower out this weekend and change the kid's beds - but other than that have done 3x wm and td loads, dw x 2 and also cleared up after dd's party yesterday - having a day off now - computer and reading afternoon with a bit of luck! hugs to all - keep flying!

Afternoon well I took all of your advise but things did not go quite to plan. One of the banks I needed to visit closes at one so that was no good. Post Office I asked for second class and she printed first so I asked her to start again - they seem to make that mistake in that branch very often - I wonder if they are told to. It is only 10p difference but if they do that to lots of customers it will soon add up. Went to the village hospital to visit Nan and she is up at the main hospital having an xray so did not get to see her - wish I'd gone for the gardening option!

Just having a cuppa, going to bung a casserole in the AGA before going back out to get DS3.
