Emily, don't rush off, have you settled into your new house now?
Not quite; there's still a lot to do. But we're happy with it.
Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. So far today I've showered, done errands, done laundry & given my old washing machine a quick clean as I'm selling it to my friend today. My aims for the rest of the day are to do more laundry & wash up0 -

Well I have got towels in the WM, but apart from that I'm sitting here with a bad case of CBA. Absolutely no justification - sun shining (and showing up the dusty bits) OK I am going to shift NOW
Before I go - anyone live near/know anything about Leeds?
Think I might have to visit at least once this year. Just how far away from Leeds is 'Leeds' Airport?0 -
TD filter cleaned... will do the DW & WM when they're next resting.
Milk & white choc cakes made & in fridge. I'm not sure how the white one will do, as I need to rethink the method - it needs much lower temperatures (this one split, but I managed to mix it back in, and I'll see what its like when I take it out)
Course booked, and phone call made to my mum about kitchen tables - the one that's the right colour looks as if it may be too heavy for my kitchen. The less 'rustic' one with tapered legs etc may not be a good colour. And I haven't got time to go and see it before the sale finishes at the end of the month  Hopefully she'll be able to work it all out on Monday.
So... very little actual flying done, but a few bits off the list so far.0 -
5:If you are going to make my kitchen look like a re-enactment of the ghostbusters fighting the giant marshmallow man. Then offering me a loving home made cookie with 2 huge (if a little flour covered) smiles on your faces is probably the best way of getting away with it..
Bless them - and a true woman! Twists a man round her little finger... :rotfl::ADon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Triker I didn't know we did hair cutting at the bank! :rotfl: hope they did a good job. Re your card collection, I too keep cards from those who mean anything to me. Every now and again I go through and thin them out. Tended to always keep those from DH and the kids and am SO pleased I do have them now. You see some hoarding is ok
Sarahshattered thanks for the yellow glow
Lilysue ((HUGS))
Greenbee depending on how large the branch of the bank is I would call ahead and book an appointment to open a new account, then you are not kept waiting. They will prob want to see Passport and Drivers licence or council tax bill. With a lot of the big banks you can open current accounts online these days and they post the paperwork to you. Would save a trip to twon just for that
Rach congrats to your clever DHand wow a year already, knew it was sometime soon so congrats again to you both.
indigo let me know how you get on the tangle teaser as it might just be the right thing for Miss A's long hair
All caught upgoing to grab lunch now am STARVING!
