  • Morning all, is it just me who hates working when people are all over the house, it seems no matter what room I am in someone needs to be in there too getting in my way!
  • LilySue - thats heartbreaking news for your MIL and you all - DH will be gutted I am sure - but if its going to save her life then the drastic action needs to be taken.
keeping yourself busy is all that you can do for now and being there to support DH.
My most healing thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
    toots xx

    Morning folks

OH has hooved the whole house, whilst I have cleaned it from top to bottom, bed done ,bathroom, shower room, hall, lounge, kitchen all done and dusted.
    Rubbish out
    WM on
    Inside of 3 windows cleaned.

    Awarded ourselves bacon sarnies.

I have just noticed the coving in the kitchen looks like it has fat stains or similar on it, so in a bit I'm going to clean it.

Bird feeders in garden filled up, crumbs of bread out as well

    Hugs all round

S&S done and last child bed stripped.

Putting the linen in the machine and then starting on the living room

All 3 kids have been being lovely to each other since yesterday, it is very odd and very worrying!

Irrie - hope you are happier after talking to HV. Is your LO crawling? When DS1 started to crawl the weight fell off him.

I'm up, windows are open, washing up done, DW nearly full (I'll set it off when I've finished my coffee), and I've started getting the ingredients sorted out for the cake-making session.

I've decided to do the cakes first, as there will be mess (though hopefully not as much as OJ had to deal with :rotfl: ... but it will be chocolate!)

If there's a chance (unlikely) that the bank will still be open once I've finished, I'm tempted to go into town to start getting my current account moved... although thinking about it, it might be best to do it in March, as if I get a bonus I could use that to keep both accounts open during the swap over... so I don't need to go to town after all (well, just for laundry bleach, but its not worth it unless I discover I need other stuff).

Off to dress & strip my bed, so that the WM can do some work while I'm cooking too ;)
