AnWsmum, I had row with dh over the car yesterday, and thought of you and went back and appologised because I know I am lucky to have him. We lost our daughter 8 years ago and I can sympathise with your loss. Ive brought my daffs into the living room to remind me of what I've got.
    Love Skipsmum

So sorry to hear of your loss, I can't begin to imagine how you must feel. As much as it hurts you know that life goes on and rows do happen, all part of the grand plan  glad you are both friends again though ((HUGS)).

Pigpen CONGRATULATIONS to you all :D fantastic news and a lovely name as well wooohooo good choice of day to pop out, will always remember that one ;). What a gorgeous pic, thanks for sharing that.

    Mudders
WTG on DH marque 2 ;) sounds like a gem. I was always the one in charge of the finances. Used to tell DH you've applied for this ccard or sign this to cancel that ccard :rotfl:

Now ladies I do have to protest about this 'Billy No Mates' attitude around here at the mo. I reckon each and everyone of us has more mates than most people as loads of my mates are right here :D. OK I haven't met many face to face BUT I know if any of you came here for a :coffee: there would be no judgements passed on our home as it would be us you came to see. So quit now you all hear!

Mudders just seen the banking question, you can name me on here! it's no secret lol or was that for the benefit of the other closet bankers?!?!?

It sounds from your description as though it is an admin error in the part of the pet insurance people. Double check the reference number of your policy to the DD details. They should match, if you are not sure then cancel all the DD's and get them to start over. You are covered under the DD indemnity scheme so please try not to worry. Would put a complaint in with the pet insurers anyway ;) They are not allowed to take any moeny without telling you in writing at least 14 days (from memory) of how much and when they intend to take it. Anything else is outside the agreement and you can get refunded.

Posting this lot now, will post more when Miss A is back from her sleepover.

Morning all, is it just me who hates working when people are all over the house, it seems no matter what room I am in someone needs to be in there too getting in my way!

Nope, you are not on your own in feeling like that. I fail to see why they trail round after me - they all appear to be fascinated by watching other people cleaning. Sarcasm or the offer of a duster achieves nothing. I remember a saying about 'I am fascinated by work, I could watch it for hours' that really aplies here.

    Morning all

Have just caught up with the thread since last night, though I think I've missed some this week! Am just having second cuppa and then I need to get on with the flat. A bit like greenbee it should be all superficial but I've done very little flying this week and the flat is showing it! I also need to make soup for lunch by 1pm. Will edit in a sec with my list, probably a pared down, achieveable in a day version of pigpen's list.

pigpen - big congrats, i love being an auntie!

Dh got official letter this morning confirming his exam results. He was top of all 6000 people taking one paper and 5th in another (he only took 3)! what a star! He's working today, we're going to a classical concert locally tonight that his parents had tickets for but couldn't use and tomorrow we're going to celebrate our anniversary in the evening one day early (can those of you who were around believe it's a year!?)

Right, off to find the list...

  • Today I have sorted DD's room. A pink recycling bag full & half a black bag. I have to psych myself to go in her room. She is disgusting!

Have stripped my bed. Need to drag hoover upstairs to hoover the matress & mayaswell hoover all up stairs as well.

1 load washing done, another to go in.

Bit of ironing to do as well.

And a HHC in the living room.
