  • Hi all, I hope you'll forgive me for being a bit slack with the cleaning but just to let you all know that Jonathan Douglas was born at 6.42am on 20th January weighing 9lb 4oz. He's currently asleep so I have managed to fold some washing which is the extent of my housekeeping for the week!!!

Hope everyone is doing well :)

Jennybee many congratulations, I did wonder where you had gone
Pollybear no I haven't, didn't know that, will try there
Greenbee I got cashback for opening my account with quidco. I also got an interest free OD for when it was being set up incase payments went out of the account before payments in started. Didn't need it but useful.
Rach thanks for confirming, been a while since I was there last as did have family there. I remember loads of buses from town had 'airport' on them back then. Oh I miss Leeds market, probably not as good as it was, used to love it. I put 10-12 mile as depends where you are in the centre I think.
Carol22 it's an OU course but you have me thinking now, I wonder if there is a way I can contact people who have done the course....will look into that, thanks
Crafy the train station is pretty central, flying can be cheaper if you're self funding these journeys....http://www.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk/passengerinformation-gettinghere-publictransport.php has bus/coack etc stuff on it

Paperwork/documents I am a total horder, but after issues needing statements going back years I keep everything like that. Every year I get a box and put in it (so I never have more than a years worth lying around)

    bank statements
credit card statements (shredding the payment slips etc) these also I find handy for problem purchases
utility bills (also useful for going back to check usage/payments etc)
    P60s
    Tax credit/child benefit letters
    Anything else income related

Everything else I do a yearly ditch shredding mission. I keep all car documents in individual files for them, I do keep all previous MOTs, recepits etc but bin insurance docs when renewed and NCB certificate is issued. I usually do the paperwork sorting/box up in February once all end of year/December stuff is in so at present there is paperwork everywhere! I must remember to get a box or see if there is a shoe box somewhere off DPs shoes (boat size and boxes are handy!) I put the boxes under the stairs, will bin after 7 years. Oh yes seperate box I keep all old assignments in and another I have is an ongoing box which has all the kids letters/reports, 2 kids with special needs generate oodles of paperwork! I have another box for instruction manuals and receipts, anything we still own/use!

Hair tangle stuff, I find the spray on Avon one good but a good way to help is put conditioner on and comb when wet with it on.

Well not a huge progress made, another 3 washer loads done, another one to go in in a mo, I do wonder sometimes where it comes from but I do have a child with a squiffy tummy today aswell. I am going to do some HHCs, one starting at 4pm and do a small list for each of them. I can't be doing with big lists today as I am loosing all motivation with them

    4-4.30pm I WILL!

    [strike]Clear stuff off kitchen benches
    Wipe kitchen benches
    Wipe cupboard fronts
    Sort utility fridge
Look for some meal plan inspiration
Decide what to have for my tea and get it out (DP out earlier) decide what to do for boys
    Put another washer load in
    Empty TD and fold contents[/strike]
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Thanks lil_me... I'll bear it in mind!

    Congratulations Jennybee!

Pigpen - you're doing better than me! I've done very little off the list, but HAVE cleared out and reorganised 4 cupboards in the kitchen so far. I think the lack of energy may be because its been cold, so I've closed the windows and put the heating on. I might read for a bit and then return to finish the kitchen... I can work my way gradually through the ground floor and back up the stairs!
