How come when I google yankee tarts, I get much of the same of when I googled chicks (meaning poultry).

I will try to join you in that challenge, Mudbath, I have found since having to get up earlier and go to work(like normal people), even though its only for an hour, that I am doing a lot more each day, apart from the finging. Still got 2 black bags in the spare room, so straight after breakfast club will head to the charity shop with those!!!!!(do I count that as 2 things or count each item in the bags?!?!?!?)

valli - looks like the poll will be a negative to the colour changes!!! hope they change it back soon. Working on the bank book just now - then you will be up for picking a number!
pigpen great news on the cleaner - 2 hours of someone doing undisturbed cleaning will acheive a hell of a lot and like you said you can get on with the decluttering - brilliant!!! get the decluttering things on ebay it will pay for the cleaner!!! You certainly are on a roll - well done - you will have a shiny sparkly home very soon at this rate!
soappie - thanks I am trying not to but really need to get things under control - awh poorNN - that was a lovely thing to do -you are an angel - I am sure she will love whatever you give her !
tea has been eaten and kitchen tidied again- washing turned around on airer and rads- spoken to nice old friend and I am going to see her tomorrow pm - ebay checked - think I will finish my bank book and leave the rest of the physical stuff for tomorrow morning when I am fresher again!

no ideas on my laundry query anyone????

They didn't had a queue and couldn't be bothered to wait. Will ring them tomorrow, standing up for an amount of time seems to set me off!!!

It's just me and DD2 at mo and its chippy time so I'm staying in because it freeeezzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiinnnnnggggggggg.

Hi everyone, have just been catching up on the thread. Haven't done any flying as have been helping DH sort out advertising for his business, and the place is kind of ok today.
Pigpen - so happy to hear about Tabitha being born - CONGRATULATIONS!! :happylove She is so pretty, I want one! Can't persuade my OH though! Hope things work out with your son too. I get on much better with my mum since I moved out - we interact more as friends now instead of mother and daughter.

Hex - I could come round and sigh at you if you like! I know what you mean, I only really feel like tidying up/cleaning if I have someone coming round. Since joining this I've been discovering that I can keep it nice just for myself, but it definately helps if I have visitors coming! :rolleyes:
Mudbath - hope you get the banking probs sorted. Well done for spotting that. I've recently taken over our finances and gone through all the DDs and standing orders and asked my DH to tell me what they are all for. Someone I know told me he had been paying several times over for various insurances, because he didn't realise some companies were automatically renewing each year, and so he was taking out new policies and paying the company he had the policy with last year! Numptyface! :rolleyes2
Summermoon - hope you feel more cheerful this evening. You were quite low the other day, is everything ok? Hugs to you.
Sunnygirl - thinking of your SIL and family, what a shock it must have been. Hope they start to recover soon, but it will take time to get over something like that and I know your SIL will really appreciate your support and that you care. :A

I keep thinking of tabitha kitten??!!!! Is that right - isnt that a beatrix potter character??
valli - I will have the cycling gloves for my nephew - let me know how much and the postage- he's 11 but small made.
mudders - dont blame me LOL - it was you who mentioned yankee - I didnt tell you to google them did I !!!! I will resist for now and use up what I have! Nice challenge but 60 things is quite a lot - will think about joinging you - I am out in the morning on monday so depends on what the room is whether I will have time IYSWIM.

Toochoosey - glad i've got someone on board with Monday's challenge.....i'll let you have the two bags as two items as you've already decluttered them. You'll then be decluttering two bags from the house, therefore, two things!!! :rotfl: I guess if you fling all the stuff all round the room then you can count each thing:D . I'm almost (I did say almost) looking forward to Monday.

An added rule - 60 things an hour and you can't post until you've done that hours 60 things! I'm going to start early at 7 until 8 as I won't be doing 9 till 10 (dog walking) but i'll do all the other hours!

I have been sticking my two pennorth in all over the place tonight...almost wishing I DID have back ache;)
Toots they are yours free gratis because Pigpen sent me some trousers and I am spreading the lurrve...also Juliejim was nice to DD (she saw something and thought of her).
