    Evening all

Funny colours on here for me too, prob just a glitch with the site!

Home from work and dinner (chilli) is cooking nicely, bulked out with lots of veg! DH has washed up the stuff I used to prep dinner so that helps.

No flying for me tonight but lots tomorrow hopefully. Much better day at work today, presentation (which was this morning) went well so am pleased about that. Feel on a more even keel (for now!) Also had some replies from people who i'd emailed asking for advice about what I want to do for my future career (freelance facilitation & coaching) which was helpful, so will start looking at courses etc.

Off to catch up with the thread

Thanks for that thread Valli - it looks like the site hasn't loaded properly or someone has stuck a very bright light on my computer!

Toots - I know yankee are expensive, I always look for deals or when my sister is visiting!

DH is flying for me! xx

    I have..

Folded another 2 loads of laundry
Made the children put away all the clean stuff
1 hour tidying in the bedroom.. I found more floor.. a mountain of washing.. 2 binbags of rubbish and some empty boxes and some clothes to donate to various people AND 2 binbags more for charity shop!!!
Vacuumed some floor in the bedroom.
Cleared the kitchen and wiped everything
    Swept the kitchen.. and

Booked a cleaner for 2 hours a week.. Tuesday mornings.. She said I'm not allowed to clean up before she comes.. I said it might actually start moving in a tidier direction if I do!! At least the kitchen, bathroom and hall/landing might!

Ohhh, now I'm very jealous - can she pop down Essex way when she's finished at yours? ;) Seriously, good on you Pigpen - someone cleaning solid for two hours is worth at least 4 hours of our time with the interruptions we usually have - kids, telephones, and ermmm, what's those metal things called that I talk on all the time, ummmm, oh yea, computers and internet...:o and like you say, it gives you time to catch up on stuff - good on ya!

looking good...are you going to print out the lists for her? Or have you negotiated what she will do regularly?

and BTW well done on your list. Off to do some pink shopping for Tabitha?
You too, Toots. You have done well. BTW what were those jobs you have done...bank books must've been one?

I don't want to catch up on other stuff I want to make progress with the junk.. I always feel like I have to be tidying it instead I'll be able to fling it!

makes sense to me - you focus on sorting/flinging whilst she cleans.
