I'm having a fun time surfing. Clicked on a free cereal survey that landed in my inbox from a company that I haven't used in ages not only did I qualify for the freebies but I also discovered I'm over halfway to a £10 Sainsburys voucher. I'm sure when I abandoned them last time I'd cashed in everything I had. Aw well thats another batch of mind-numbingly dull v. long surveys to do over the next few weeks.

moo2moo - where do you get all your energy from? Seriously you pack so much in - am torn between being inspired at your energy, and depressed at my lack of it:rolleyes:

Its deceptive. I've perfected the art of speed cleaning although to be fair I get lots of practice (at work - my boss would have an epi if he came here).

The OH gets up for work at 5am and does it very quietly, really he does, it must be a man thing. The amount of noise made by your average fella doing something quietly is inversely proportional to the need for quiet. On a good morning he gets out of bed trips up over the cat, stands on the dog and then stubbs his toe. Thats before hes travelled 3 feet. By the time hes found his clothes, complained that the kids have put the laundry away and my undies are in his drawer (or by this point wedged just above his knees) its shower time - involving the dropping of the shampoo bottle. I could go on and on but I'm normally downstairs by this point, then rapidly back upstairs to turn off the two alarm clocks that hes forgotten to cancel before the DDs wake up. It means that I get at least an hour of peace every day to do my own thing. This is generally spent in PJS, wrapped in a blanket with a large mug of coffee and a huge pile of toast. Unfortunately I have a habit of losing track of time and just squeezing one more thing in before whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing. I get carried away very very easily.

It also helps that I work split shifts and super mega flexi time (unofficially) with a very laid back boss who is used to me whooshing through the door 5 minutes late with wet hair and two small scruffy children who then spend an hour retrieving ties from wherever they abandoned them the previous day. If I jog round the building this makes up the time very nicely. I finish when I've run out of things to do or I have somewhere to go and I start again sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 depending when I remember to go back in. It works very nicely.

Footy results are in. £25 free bet unlocked. Superb match found which should net £21.33 from it by tomorrow evening. Turns out that the exchange holds on to all transactions for 3 days after venue cancellation in case of a reschedule within that period. Outside of 3 days and I'll be refunded.

Children are chowing again before going to bed. They've just watched BBC2s Victorian Farm which they are thoroughly enjoying. Might feel the urge to take them to Iron Bridge when the weather warms up.

I impersonate a grumpy child-hating old man in a brown knee length overcoat and a flat cap - very Grange Hill.
