The matched betting gods love me! The match I screwed up on earlier in the week was cancelled due to a frozen pitch and I've been refunded by both the bookies and the exchange.

I've opened another account this morning that was automatically credited with a free bet. Placed that on a game this afternoon. If it wins at the bookies then I'm into wager requirements to release the money otherwise its immediately available at the exchange. Its at this point that I should probably have done some homework as I need Rangers to draw or lose to the underdog - last time they met it was a 6-0 victory for Rangers. Looks like I could be into WRs tomorrow. However its not all that bad, at least I can play it in £10 chunks at high odds for a better return rather than having to find reasonable odds for £25 bets meaning less outlay at the exchange.

Following yesterdays Mi-info collapse I've played safe and ordered a £10 M&S voucher from Pigsback which I'll use for the DDs summer school uniforms as last years were looking very short on DD1 and DD2s were falling to bits, but then she did climb trees in them and pockets tend to snag on branches rather too easily resulting in cries of Muuum theres a hole in my dress - translation the seam has split again.

oh dear Moo, Forfar to beat Rangers is... well... unlikely! Would be lovely for the folk from Forfar though.
You are inspiring me to reread the matched betting info again but putting me off pets for life!

Aw well its irrelevant really. The pitch is frozen and the match is being replayed on the 18th so everyones refunded me. Back to the drawing board!

The pets I can live with. They never rarely eat my choc, drink my wine or complain about my cooking. The OH on the other hand....

Ah, but remember that day when Caley Thistle beat Celtic for the first time spawning the greatest headline in sporting history - Super Caley Go Balistic Celtic Are Atrocious :rotfl: Sometimes funny things happen in sport.

I would still bet in Rangers favour though!

Its weekly matched betting update time and theres a fair bit to catch up on. The Gurus from the not really gambling thread saved me from making a huge boo boo earlier in the week. I found some unbelievably good odds on the under over goal market. Basically either the total number of goals scored is under 2.5 (so 0, 1 or 2) or its over 2.5 (so 3 or more). One of the bookies I hadn't used before listed them as under 2/2.5, over 2/2.5. I assumed this was the same thing but double checked anyway. It turns out that half your money goes on 2 goals or under and half your money goes on under 2.5 goals and the opposite with the over side of things. Not a clue how you work that one out so I stayed well away.

Bet #36 Refunded due to snow

    Bet #37
Cancelled due to snow - awaiting refund at bookies

Bet #38 13p loss (qualifying bet)

Bet #39 13p loss (qualifying bet)

    Bet#40 £19.41 profit (from a free £20 bet)

    Bet #41 £19.41 profit (from a free £20 bet)

    Account balance
    Cash in play £146.88
Cash balance at the bookies £312.98
    Cash profit £145.90
    Quidco to date £35.00
    Free bets available £10
Free bets to be unlocked £10
    Bookies to date 8 + 1 exchange

Whilst I have been keeping very accurate records of my income and expenditure and transfers from various accounts to various bookies and round again in circles its very easy to just add a fiver here and there to take advantage of great odds and maximise profits but as you'll have noticed it rapidly means I'm playing with just over £300, a ten fold increase on a month back when I started on this malarky. Fortunately I've done quite a few extra bits and pieces over the last month that I've been able to pull together to fund this without affecting my day to day finances, but when you see it all in black and white it comes as rather a big shock. Its very very easy to see how people become addicted to gambling.

Flea-bay auctions ended, £36.23 plus postage, surprisingly everythings sold. Just waiting for two bidders to pay but the rest are parcelled up ready to go tomorrow.

Spent this morning trying to teach DD1 to ride a bike. Shes clueless. Swapped children abandoning DD1 with OH whilst DD2 ventured out on her scooter. Despite trying to convince her that scooters don't like mud she insisted on scooting through it anyway landing on her face everytime, unfortunately not hard enough to do any damage. Her two very loose very stubborn front teeth are still hanging in there. Shes refusing to eat anything hard because they bleed profusely, we've had two weeks of this so far.

Yesterday was one of those days.

We've lived here for almost a decade so when post arrives correctly adressed but with the wrong name on I open it. All the previuos occupants are dead anyway, this is one of those places where people live in a house for 80 years and then die of old age, so no one cares. Imagine my surpise when I discover that the imaginary occupant is in arrears with their Sky bill. Incidently this isn't one of the neighbours as we only have a handful and none of them have Sky. Being an intelligent person I phone Sky and spend 10 minutes going round and round in circles. Press button 2 to access another menu where you can press button 3 to llisten to a Martian. Insert your account number - I'm sorry I didn't understand that... bla bla bla. Eventually got through to a real life person and explained to them that I didn't have Sky, the house doesn't have Sky, the house doesn't have an occupant by the name on the bill and the house is not in arrears for a service which it doesn't have. Result - Can I take your name to add it to our records. Nooo I'm not quite so green that I'm cabbage looking love. You really don't need my name to add to admit you've made a balls up. Apparently someone is investigating but a payment is outstanding.... bla bla bla. Ho Hum.

T'OH started the first of his 3 days off sitting on the sofa complaining he was cold. Throughout the day this turned into a bit of a spectator sport. Wrapped up in a blanket in front of the fire he complained he was cold again and again and again. In between collecting him from the garage and dropping him back there to collect his car he watched me wash up, iron, vacuum, sort laudry, load the machine etc. etc. etc. and then had the gall to point out that I never spend any time with him. Men. Assault with a cast iron frying pan should not be classed as a criminal offence.

I have finally reached the depths of depravity but in my defence my boss made me do it. Really he did and I didn't enjoy it in the slightest. Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to hear of the sad demise of Frosty the Snowman and two of his siblings in what can only be described as gleeful and wilful destruction with a pitchfork watched by 90 somewhat distraught 3 and 4 year olds. Having spent an entire afternoon building Frosty and pals slap bang in the middle of the football pitch this caused a minor hic-cup to todays inter school footie match so Frosty had to go, although decapitating him and slingshotting his head across the field wsn't quite what the boss had in mind. It was extremely therapeutic and comes higly recommended as a form of anti-psychotic therapy.

Yesterdays matched bets payed out a healthy profit although I've promptly forgotten what it was, I go t so excited finind a £50 matched bet offer that I've opened another account to take advantage of that.. Match is played tomorrow releasing the free wonga which will then be liberated as cash on Saturday taking me close to the £200 profit mark. 50p to go on the scratch cards too.

Highlight of today is undoubtably the school valentines disco. I'm hoping someone breaks soemthing very smelly so that I can hide away for the duration otherwise I'll get to join in . last years was rather embarrassing. It turns out thaat no other member of staff joined in with the Crazy Frog or the tweety song or the locomotion or Agadooo. They obviously had deprived childhoods.

Aaaagh its 5 past 7. I need to leave in 30 minutes but am without daytime attire sporting dragged through a hedge hair with 2 sleeping children to persuade to join the land of the living. No surprise that I'll be late again today.

We built a huge snowman the other day and when we had finished, admire our work and taken pictures of it, my other half decided that the best thing to do would be to rugby tackle it :D
