Got an e-mail earlier saying OHs friends wife had died this morning. Not unexpected but still a bit of a shock. Will have to tell him when he gets in. Not looking forward to that.

    Oh no, so sad

But life still goes on regardless and with that in mind I have begun my onslaught on the bitterly cold icy day that is today. I will not be leaving the house at anypoint. Am particularly determined to ensure this happens now that DD1 is sporting purple eyeshadow and Aunt Sally style blusher. OH has gone to work for the afternoon in the hopes they can catch up with some of the backlog caused by the snow and ice. I am wading my way through yet more housework. It really is endless.

Have banked the £25 I was paid for Friday and have also discovered that my time at B!ngo Britain has come to an end. *sob* I've gambled my way through £150.20p losing a whopping £40.12 however since that was theoretical money I'm actually in profit by a rather splendid £109.98. Will be persuading OH to take up bingo with them in January. Its a very easy way to obtain a very large chuck of cash for minimal risk and even less effort.

DD1 had a fab time yesterday managing to fit in a bit of sledging whilst scoring a whopping 32 points which is her personal best and was only 5 points behind OH. Hes a very proud daddy.

    Plans for today:
    • Inventory the toiletries. I know I said I wasn't going to buy any more shower gels or bubble baths or handcreams until I'd run out but I've since reached the stage where I can't shut the cupboard door *again*. The school fayre had a lot to do with it but I've been guilty of buying them too.
    • Use the holiday depleting the store cupboards. No single household needs 15kg of assorted pasta or 6 boxes of 33p Paxo (offer of the week at Mr Ts) or even more bizarely 6 jars of pickled onions when only DD1 likes them. Will be working my way through the stash to reach the point where all the food fits within the cupboard which then saves me rummaging around to find a pair of shoes only to discover a dozen or so jars of pasta sauce and even more cans of cat food. Starting today with a roast dinner and paxo who cares if its pork.
    • Mamoth tidy of the DDs bedrooms
    • More washing up
    • Tidying of the bathroom and reduction in the number of toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste on the go. There are four of us. Quite why we have 9 toothbrushes 6 of which are really manky is beyond me.
    • DooYoos. Only 19 to go. On the homeward straight now.
    • Rearrange the DDs riding lessons for the next few weeks as they clash with DDs shooting competitions.
    • Forgot to pay for the next batch of swimming lesons which have been moved to another pool. Will see if I can get lessons from Easter onwards instead and will make a point of taking them to a swimming pol just for fun every few weeks so they don't forget too much.

Have submitted a claim with Game in the hopes they'll send me a replacement for the item which has yet to arrive in the hopes that something will arrive in time for X-mas or alternatively they refund my cash allowing my to venture forth on x-mas eve with an army of last miute shoppers only to discover that everywhere has sold out of the itme in question. So much for being organised way in advance.

No doubt you subscribe to the eyeshadow as a means of looking beautiful school of thought as opposed to the alternative which resembles an extra from the CSI morgue or the lesser spotted purple eyed panda.

Join facebook and have a look at some of my photos. I wish I were a Christmas tree. It is acceptable for them to wear too much glitter. I'm jellus!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
