    Good results all,

A guy in work pushed out 4hrs 12mins 42 secs, which is pretty good.

Working it on paper, I can knock out 6.2miles in 1hr on average, so based on that, i should be able to knock a marathon out in under 4hrs :)

    If only... :)

    **hobbles in**

Well, I'm back - it was bloody hot and therefore extremely hard work.

I was a little outside my target time, but I was happy enough to finish in 5 hrs 13 mins 26 secs which still gives me a PB, so a fair time, given the circumstances.

I beat most of the rhinos, and a couple of wombles - and I was in a bit of a tussle with Spongebob Squarepants for the last 5 miles - every time I passed him, he seemed to find some extra energy to come past me.....and bananaman just pipped me at the end......

......but all was not lost - I passed Katie Price (AKA Jordan) and Peter Andre at 8.5 miles and made sure they stayed behind me for the duration.

I truly don't think I could have done anything different today to go any faster - it was simply very very hot. But the crowds were fab, and without them, I would have been a lot lot slower!

I am sure the others will report in soon! I'm off for a much needed soak.....

Well done to Hypno, Sally Becky & Rusty. You must have been so hot running today. I watched on TV. It looked very warm - too warm for marathon running anyway. Hope you are all ok and recovering well.
