Also good luck with the 11k tomorrow Simply - hope its not too muddy :D:D

Thanks Becky; I will decide tomorrow morning whether or not I am going to run it. I woke up achy and shakey on Friday and have been feeling under the weather since then (have got an upset stomach too - sorry if TMI). I might just do a circular route near home tomorrow so I can cut it short if I need to.

Have a brilliant time tomorrow!!!! :D

Well here we are sitting on the grass at the start at Greenwich - a lovely sunny day which is ideal for spectating but the runners are going to need to set off steadily and keep throwing water over themselves.

Hypno and Becky are both looking happy and relaxed and wish all those sitting on their bums at home happy viewing.:p:D

Well, I'm sitting watching the FLM after deciding against the 11k today - I'm still feeling a bit under par and am not confident that I could complete the route. I'm a bit disappointed but have got a 10k in 3 weeks time so will look forward to that. I'll go out for a run this afternoon and see how I feel re. distance.

I hope it's not too hot for our FLM runners today!!

Well done Ukevas....becky has finished but I will let you tell you the news herself.....

I did 6.6 miles this mornning, meant to do 10k but went down a dead end and came back on myself...my knees for the first time in history are hurting now!!

sorry about the 11k simply......best not to run if under par though it can set you back...

  • Well done Uk :j:jThat's a great achievement and it's good that you enjoyed it too!!!

Thanks Sammy; I've decided not to run at all today. It feels strange not running on a Sunday but, as you say, I feel that it might set me back further/longer if I push myself to do it when my body isn't up to it.

Anyway enough of my gloominess - I can't wait to hear from our FLM'ers (I want to play next year). :T:T:T
