Nice cool racing conditions this morning on Wimbledon Common. Despite the speedwork this week only a couple of seconds from PB for this course so happy enough with that at this stage.:D:D

On the downside, managed to get beaten by a man pushing a buggy and on the upside got to meet Beer Tins who will no doubt be posting shortly after his enjoyable experience.

Becky was a rather frustrated spectator, itching to join in.....but tomorrow morning will come soon enough.:D:D:D

Morning all. Was great to meet Rich and Becky this morning. I can't believe I forget to say GOOD LUCK BECKY when I left! So I want to wish all the runners running tomorrow the very best of luck.

The park run was good fun and seems to be a very good standard. Don't know my time (don't know how Rich does already?!) but I'll check the results again later. It was some way behind rich though (probably about 4 minutes behind!) It was really good fun and I'll definitely go again. I always forget what nice people runners are, because I do most of my running alone. The lady who used me as a pace maker (and then returned the favour) gave me a hug at the finish and said thanks for helping me keep pace, even though I burned her on the finish sprint! Didn't really race very clever, started too fast in all the excitement and then slowed down too much to compensate. Found a reasonable pace part way through the second lap though. Maybe becky will help me keep pace on the 9th May!

I'll post my time later when it updates, though I'm not reading too much into it. I'm sure I'll get time improvements just by racing cleverer after a while if I keep going to the races.

Nice long slow run for me tomorrow. Happy running this weekend, everyone!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! ENJOY THE DAY TOMORROW.

I'll be watching you on the telly from my sofa. No running for me this weekend. Back giving me loads of gyp. Still, been to sort out caterer and wedding cake maker today so not a wasted day.

Good running this morning Rich. Becky - chill your beans girl. It will be Rich's turn to watch tomorrow. ;)

    Hope you aren't too nervous.

Looks like they've posted my time for the 5K time-trial. 23m41s. finished 80th out of 157. Oh well, it gives me something to aim to beat, anyway. Hopefully I'll learn how to race 5K if I do it regularly enough!
