Chick - its Vivi from Final Fantasy 9 (a computer game) - he's been put into sepia thats why he looks even odder than usual:

Well, there you go! I need to get 'down with the kids' and their computer games! I don't play any games but I do get to watch DS playing FIFA09 on Xbox. Its not quite Final Fantasy though, obviously. :o

Dont worry its an old game these days - I just thought he was cute - but everyone on the chat thread thought it was scary :o:o

Thanks for asking Chick, I was trying to work it out this morning and didn't want to make myself look any dippier than usual by asking. Glad I wasn't the only one who didn't know. :D

Becky - thanks, tomorrow will be great (if you're not too busy being active ).

I've been very MSE today; I clicked on a link in an email from Nike last week (apparently to join a Man v Woman challenge) and the first 500 women to join got a free running top. The postie brought mine this morning - success!!!! Free is my favourite price - I might wear it on my hilly run later. :D

I'm sure we'll find some time somewhere ;)

Those who are interested in the link between running and active rest should check this out (not for work!)

  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: love it!!!! see yet another good reason to run!

so far my personal list is:

    1. Get thin!
    2. Get fit!
    3. more of what the article was on about ;)
    4. actually have muscles and stop resembling the blob people from Wall-E
    5. the ability to eat and drink anything coz i'll be running it off later!
    6. quit the ciggies

hhhhhhmmmmmmm makes me wanna get my backside to the gym, didn't do so well the other night, mainly because i forgot the reason i had been feeling so well was due to the vast amount of steroids i'd been taking, said steroids had since run out, and i found it all really quite hard and painful! so instead of my 4 mile walk, i ended up doind about 10 mins on the treadmill and some weights :( some times i really hate being me!

why can't life be like The Sims - get fat, run on the treadmill for 6 hours and PING your thin! :(
