    Beer Tins,

We'll have a look at your plan tomorrow as well, but need to know what time you have available for training - which days and what sort of time chunks are available?

Good luck tonight, Hypno. Get well warmed up and give it your best shot!:D:D

As long as weight loss doesn't result in power loss, ie reduction in lean muscle mass, then roughly speaking 'mass x velocity = constant'.

Don't worry, I don't think I'll be losing muscle mass with the amount of running I'll be doing over the next 3 months :rotfl:

Good to know though. I can shave about 25 seconds/mile off my pace just by losing a few pounds. That makes my task that little bit less impossible!

Cheers Rich. Well, I play footie every Wednesday night and Friday lunchtime (plus maybe one more lunchtime a week!). But I still want to be running on those days as well, otherwise I'm just not going to get the necessary mileage in. So I'm available every day really, probably running in the morning during the week and any time at the weekend. I can probably run anything up to an hour in the mornings, just need to get up that bit earlier!

    My "active rest" generally involves
    • getting to Tesco
    • Running the children around
    • doing something that resembles housework
