Uk there are a few on in the next few months if you fancy a half before September...
Depends what you want really - do you want to run it comfortably or do you just want to get round??
There's the Wharfdale half in June in Skipton - off road and you can pay on the day...seems fun0 -
do you want to run it comfortably or do you just want to get round??
I dont do running comfortably.
Like today its like two laps road the dam one X-contry and the other lap on the main road next to it..
i figuered that seeing i was doing two laps and not one for the first time, i would try and pace myself for the first lap.
so my first lap ended up a massive 13 seconds of what is my current best.... and i was hopeing for a good 3 mins slower.
I just can not run slow. ( well slow in my terms )

I will be doing the Norwich Half again in November - gives me loads of time to get some good training in between FLM and November.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Norwich eh! I bet thats quite good fun
Uk - you will have to learn to pace in a training program - or you will overtrain and effect your times - speed and distance only go together in races when training for a particular event - you can lose at lot of time by putting them together too often! Okay thats you told0 -
heh-heh..... but when im pushing out them 4.50 miles then my current 8.30 miles will be slow
.... LMAO

Norwich was good - 2500 runners, plus a 5k for those that wanted something less. Only thing is that it is a 2 lap course, with a hill at the end of each lap.....ok the first time, but the second time you know what is coming
I would def do it again!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
