I have only £4.73 to last me this week!!!

Overspent on groceries by £13+ . I should know that when I take the OH grocery shopping, I should make him pay for it! I found beer, sausage rolls, ghee (I like to make my curries :) ) eggs, and all sorts of things that weren't on my list. (However, there are some things that mean I will only have to do about 2 days shopping the week after...)

I think he felt quite guilty, because when we went to the other shop to get the more expensive bits, he paid for them!

But you know what? I can survive on my £4 this week! I have nothing I need to buy! :) Infact, I reckon I can have £2 of it left at the end of the week! :T

    Good luck everyone. :)

I am not sure how much I spent in London but I too out cash and think I only switched one thing so can't be too bad especially as tomorrow is payday. I think I just made it on budget this week as I did buy lunch on Friday and all other spends were after work on Friday.

Raychee love the lifeboat story made me laugh I must say I sometimes have no idea what some of the glaswegians are saying and often have to ask for things to be repeated I am sure people think I am a bit deaf.

babs sounds like the coat was a bargain glad you didn't count it in this challenge as I am sure you will make use of it every girl needs a decent coat.

You have all done really well this week lots of green on the new thread so keep up the low spending.
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Well I failed at the last hurdle on Friday when I was invited to Pampered Chef party and brought a mixing bowl. However since I have started to cook more at home this is one thing I have been missing so decided this was money well spent as I can make more now. ended up spending £32 so went over by £12. But on a good note worked for my dad on sat and made that money so at least its covered.

sazzledazzle - at least you used your overspend wisely. You'll save money elsewhere if you are cooking more from scratch.
