:T F_F for exceeding your NSDs for Jan. I was lurking on your diary yesterday when I couldn't sleep, you make for interesting reading. Well done seems like you have made so much progress (note to self must try harder:rolleyes:)

You shouldn't just lurk you know, pop in for a virtual cuppa any time :D
  • Had to spend £5.05 on my special delivery! I MAY head to the gym later (I pay per session, don't go often enough to make a DD worth it!!) but I may not so I'm within budget this week!!!
    Just keep swimming
  • Afternoon all,

My first spend of the week and it was on groceries, which normally I would add on to the grocery list but these are things I forgot to get.

I have therefore spent £7.17 so far and have no plans to spend anything else until Thursday when I go to the market.

    Keep going everyone.

    Tea

  • Hopefully a NSD today. Brought a few bits in Tesco last night so should have enough to last me for lunch for the rest of the week. Hoping tomorrow will be the same but as its pay day and havent spent alot so far may go swimming with a friend. Helping my dad out on Thursday night so hopefully dinner will be provided and should earn about £50 - £75 which will put towards my PAD. Determined this will be a good month, my feb starts tomorrow as I get paid.
    MAY NSD's

Spent on a few bits and pieces yesterday including £1.70 on chocolate (justified by the fact that I left the library at 2am). My home made soup was a disaster this week, so may have to get some lunch stuff in which will have to be paid for with spare cash - £16.91 left - as I've already gone over my groceries budget.

Not doing as well this week

    £11.63 spent today:

    £1 on tea
£10.63 at Asda - I spent a lot less though as I used my £20 gift vouchers that I got from Ipoints :D so I could buy loads of cheap meat (And some brioche, I like brioche!)
  • Well 99p for me on coffee today at lunchtime for an hour out of the office to read my book. So not too bad. I am thinking I might start a lunchtime coffee budget as that should be all I spend today but it has ruined my NSD or is that cheating do you think?

F_F I have always wondered what goes in brioche is it just sweet bread?

Ladymay what were you doing in the library until 2am or dare I not ask?

Haha not only have you not spent you have made money :T. On that note I found 11p today and was not too proud to pick it up even though people looked at me.:j

How does that work as surely fries are potato. Is it she can't eat potato or doesn't like it? I am amazed at the amount of people nowadays that say they are allergic to things but it is just that they don't like them. It is very strange.

Not allergic - just fussy  also wont eat baked beans, fish fingers, pasta in sauce etc. etc. in fact most of the stuff mine lives on :o . It's odd as she will always try new stuff, just doesnt seem to like it. Her mum is always so apologetic & delighted if I find a new dish she likes.

One of my nieces always complained of tummy aches after meals & was eventually diagnosed with severe coeliacs so some kids are genuine & others just take a bit of time for their palates to expand. Mine refuses to eat lamb...but always loves the cottage pies I make :rotfl: . I never lie about what she's eating, I just tell her the french name for it :D
