When I told her I knew there were others that had already received theirs despite ordering later than me and not having paid for next day, she said something like "I've never known them to be that efficient".
Makes you wonder how some people become customer services reps with attitudes like that.
My order was orginally for next Wednesday, and when I showed my surprise the home delivery guy said, he'd had a few people say they wern't expecting orders till next week. Maybe Boots are trying to make up for the shambles that was the online sale:eek:Sealed Pot Challenge No. 581 - aiming for £3000 -

Just checked my order and its still showing as being processed.
Its a bit shocking how they arent even paying attention to those orders that are on next day delivery yet those who have just got standard delivery have recieved theirs already.
Im not impressed as i cancelled plans today to wait in for it.
CS comment: ''well we have been busy and things like this happen, it wont be leaving here until later today as it hasnt even been packed yet so you might get it on monday''
Might - is not good enough, but hey they are refunding my Next day delivery charge.
Next time im not going to bother paying extra for next day delivery - im just gonna chance it. Boots obviously dont really care whether you pay next day delivery or not, they just work through a random list and its pot luck. Im mega pee'd off now.
I telephoned and the lady said I should be pleased that they had sent an email to me and that they would refund my postage.
Customer service certainly sucks today.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Hi all,
Quick question. I ordered a couple of things from the sale yesterday, and bulked it up with essentials to get free delivery. One of those things was some vitamins and I bought 3 (342). On .com it now says “under pharmacist review” by my order. Does anyone know how long it will take this is replaced by order processing, or whatever the next step is?
Thanks,
Btw… I used a pantene sachet on my hair last night, and I was still able to wear my hair down today after blow drying last night. Normally have to have it up as it never looks good the morning after.0 -
Does the over 60's discount also work online please?0

that aint such a bad idea, the only thing is that when l go for a refund the Sa`s might take a liking to my refunds and point blank refuse to let me rebuy the stuff!!!
that will p***s me off even more, we all know how elusive No7 gifts and the S&G sets are....MYLITTLESISTERLOLA wrote: »Right,
last week when sale was off I bought two coin sorter thingys at full price along with a minerals foundation ( so I could get free delivery ) took them to my local store today and this is what happened
MLSL - " Can I return these please I bought them on .com at full price and tried to get them delivered to store so I could pay with points but .com was playing up and they arrive with me a few days ago"
SA " Yes no problem that is £40 (-vat reduction ) & cost of minerals foundation refunded to your card"
MLSL " can I now purchase them with points I checked with .com and they said it should be a problem "
SA " Certainly thats £10 ( -vat reduction ) for your two coin sorters "
I then bought some pantene to boost points & get blinkie, picked up minerals foundation & GWP cost £14ish - £5 blinkie +£9
Total saved
£15 x 2 refund for coin sorter
£5 less for Minerals foundation due to blinkie
I would suggest that if anyone wants 1 or 2 higher cost items they order them through .com ( adding something like minerals foundation to get free delivery ) then asks store if they can refund and buy with points, the refund goes through .com prices 100%, and when they scan it to purchase it comes up 75% off
I would also suggest like I did you could say CS thinks there should be no problem and smile that way theres not 20 supervisors called
best case - you get items you wanted with free delivery & 75% off & extra points
worst case - if they say no, you can either keep item at 100% or get a 100% refund and your no worse off ( & if you've used a bonus points code with .com they often don't take these points off so you'd be 500pts better off for your trouble )
hope this helps those who haven't managed to get items in either of the 75% sales
Good Luck:T LLB HONS :T
im well chuffed...........0 -

i am doubting this a lot as beckton clearnace is not that big and they have reduced items there anyway...i think only some stock will go there.0 -

Then kindly ask to speak to the manager and tell them customer services said it was ok or say thats ok I'll hold onto it and go to another store
I was so lucky today not only getting the refund but found a basket with 3 items no7 ultimate nails, elle minis set & ted baker mens mini aftershave kit, asked 3 sales assistants did they know who it belonged to, having waited subtely beside it for 10 mins ( but knew it wasn't a customers as ther is non of that stuff on the shelves ) the 3rd Sa said take what you want, so I did and took all 3 items the SA putting it through said goodness you were lucky ( and I'm thinking lucky or v cheeky but it worked )
I'm lucky I have 4 localish stores and if a sa dependant code/glitch doesn't work in one it usually works in another
Good Luck
& you'd still have the extra points !!Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
AHHHHHHHHH
The No7 travel essentials bag is back in stock on .com but its now £50.
I REALLY REALLY NEED ONE for my mum. Dont know if i dare push my luck and pay full price in the hope that i can return and rebuy at 75% off. Cos if the CS says no i can't rebuy it - i will be so tepted to keep hold of it but i know its not worth the £50 price tag.
Although if i travel to a different store where i am NOT recognised they might allow it, but if i go to my local - they will point blank refuse just beacuse its me.
I suppose its a case of if you dont ask you dont get?:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0
