  • What a palaver with the sale, I can't believe it's all happened again.

I just wondered whether anyone else that managed to get a sale order through the first time around also got points on their card?

My order came (in the most ridiculously huge box ever), but there was no despatch information in the box and I've just checked online to see my 'pending points,' and there's nothing showing. It's not that big a deal, as it wasn't a huge amount of points, just a bit annoying that they're not showing.
  • What counts as a "bigger" store?! As as skibster said we have no idea when it'll turn up so it's a no hoper really isn't it :( Knew I should have gone before work on the opening day - by the time I got there at lunch every single no 7 set I wanted had gone even though were stacked sky high the day before!

I collected my points yesterday from my first sale orders.

No offence to Debs but personally I take everything CS say with a pinch of salt after all this is the same CS who said that there would be public announcements/advertisements of when the sale would go back live and also the same CS who said that the sale would go live between 7am and 7pm. Both of which was wrong. Surely if the sale was gone forever then the website would be updated to no longer say that they were having temporary issues with the sale and trying to resolve the matter? Possibly just wishful thinking on my behalf though

I agree with you Ikkle. How can we believe anything that CS say when everything that's been said before is incorrect?
I am sure that they are only repeating what they are told to say, but it is still very annoying and not the way for Mr B to keep custom when times are so tough financially.

Ah, thanks for letting me know! Maybe just a problem for me then...I will contact them and find out if they can be added on.

Yes times are tough - WE ARE NOW OFFICIALLY IN A RECESSION.

I just fired of an email to CS about my delivery, i shall see what they say in reply.

Has anyone sent an email about the full price items and how effectively they are now 50% more than what they originally were. I bet they come back with some wish wash about ''it was a promotional offer that has now ended yarda yarda yarda, we can charge what we like etc etc etc''
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Finally decided to give them a call and was told it's unlikely the sale will be back online and the stock they have will be shipped out to their bigger stores...so all that time camped out in front of the Boots.com page was a complete and utter waste of time

Isn't it strange how they suddenly can transfer the stock from .com to the stores, yet for weeks they have been saying that they are 2 seperate companies & have no facility to do this!!

I agree with the others, they will obviously ship them with no warning & the SA's will get first pick, so unless we all take tents & camp out for the next XX days in the large stores, the chances of being instore when they arrive are minimal!

And even if they arrive in-store, what price will they charge??

The best we can hope is that they ship them for next Wednesday (28th) for the 90% reductions (I know, I'm hallucinating again! Blame the lack of sleep cos I was up till 3.30am!)

Its so infuriating! They need to update their website with accurate info, instead of leaving us hanging.......!!

I have 2 of the big R&M red cases, only taken the vouchers out. I got them for my nieces when they were offer of the week. I paid £25 each for them. Do you think I can take them back and get a refund as I forgot to give them to the girls at Christmas?

I would only take them back after replacing the vouchers. Not very fair for someone else buying the product otherwise. (Assuming the vouchers are still in date.) There's been a lot of discussion on here about buying products and finding that someone has already taken out the vouchers, and none of it very pleased about the situation.
