So there will be dribs and drabs of items turning up around the country.

How clever MrB, knowing that an item will get mentioned on here as being in such and such store, therefore loads of people will take a trip to boots, find its sold out but buy something else whilst their in there.

Once ive spent my 14 blinkies for minimum spent with my 14 250pts coupons, i am considering taking a boots break, having totalled up how much i have spent in there over the past 3 months has just given me a HUGE wake up call, i may single handedly be keeping boots in business. :shock:

I have just got back from here, no Herbal Essence was priced up at 37p but none left on shelf :mad: . Lots of Pantene sachets, picked up a few of these. Lots of No.7 Intelligent Balance (day and night) £2.27 and Instant Radiance Beauty Lotions £3.80. Lots of sun tan lotions and tan keepers, nailvarnishes. I bought various ones, free with blinkies. Got my 250 points added on manually. Walked outside and found a blinkie on the floor :j :j went back in and bought some more.

For future reference (in case I ever again want or manage to order online) can someone please tell me how you organised getting a text about delivery? I've had texts from other sites/couriers, but never from Boots/HDNL. Thanks.

Wow, that is amazing. Other than a few people who may have been buying wedding favors, there's no reason anyone needs 20 or 30 of an item. Maybe Boots should just set the system so you can't buy more than 4 or 5 (or some similar number) of a given item (though it would be nice if that didn't apply to products like laundry detergent or slimfast, which some people do buy large amounts of because it's heavy to lug home from a store). Yes, people could do more than one transaction, but in a sale like this items would be gone before one person could get them all. Plus if the items were low-cost, they'd have to pay shipping each time. It would cut Bootsers off from some of the glitches, it's true, where some buy 30 of an item because it's super-cheap or free, but from Boots' standpoint, that's a positive to stop that, too. And I'd rather know I could get a couple of an item on a good deal than to not be able to get any because some people mass-buy.

elle Mcphearson, mini sets £2.45, hand scrub £1.45 (leave a few for me, I've just tried it and it's as nice as the No.7) Rose damask sets
lots of groovy chick picture frames just going out on photo clearance.
No reduced HE

Wow this is a hugggge thread. What is the basics i hould know? i have an advantage card.... how can i get boots bargains then?

I assume they automatically refund the delivery charge then...or is that assuming too much (this is Boots.com we are talking about;) )

My refund has automatically been done. Got an email to say that it would be Monday before my order turns up but it turned up today. Got a Dr Who Master figure which will be going back unless anyone wants it.

Hi everyone,

Sorry to post this on here but I'm not sure where I can ask this question cause there isnt a phone number I can contact.

I was one of the lucky ones that got a 75% order through yesterday at 6.30 am and the free delivery date I was given was next Wednesday (just in time for my DD no2's 14th birthday on Thursday) which suited me fine cause I really didnt want it turning up tomorrow when I am at work all day and my DH will be home and will have a fit when he sees everything I got so I was really surprised to see I had an e-mail from Boots this morning saying that my order had been despatched. I checked the HDNL website with the tracking number I was given and by the looks of it it has now been received by my local depot and the last thing it says is 'Loaded onto vehicle' at 6.59am. Does anyone know if this means that it will be delivered to me today cause I have been out at town and I left a note on my door to deliver to a neighbour. I haven't tried my neighbour because no card has been put through my door but can anyone else who has received their orders and checked the tracking facility confirm whether its likely it will come today cause I will have to go out later to pick up DD no3 and I dont want to miss it and I will have to put another note on my door!!

Sorry to go and many thanks in advance for any advise given...

Hi - A good start is to have a look at the first page of the thread as any deals etc will be posted on there. Often it is a case of scanning through the thread for glitches, some you get some you miss!!!! You will get the hang of speed scanning!!!
