Back from Boots this am so apologies if this has been mentioned already. I got some Herbal Essences conditioners for 73p and some 2 in 1 for 88p - and each has 100 points back!! I bought all of those and popped to the other Boots and bought those too.
Used my blinkie to get 2 x Self brozing mousse from No7 reduced to £2.50 each and lovely SA told me they were 3 for 2 so I went and got another so 3 for nothing.
I bought No7 Minerals blushers and used my blinkie and got the GWP.
Cadbury chocolate bars reduced to 15p each.
And just some odds and ends really.
I got £10 in points back on my card today and I only spent about £8 on everything. And I got another blinkie.0 -

The lady said that the 75% off sale will not be coming back online + that the warehouse is empty, there is no stock left due to everyone bombarding it with orders yesterday + the website going down again like last wednesday, + there's hardly any stock left in the shops ( which we know ) .. which means I am baffled why most of the was 75% off sale items are still in my favourites are actually in stock!:hello:

I placed an order on my DH's account last week as my acount was getting the error message. When I rang to ask about it (twice) I just said it was hubby's account and they were perfectly happy to talk to me about it. They can just search by postcode to find it, you don't need any more than that.

The order history shows the order, shows the guaranteed delivery date of 23.01.09 but the order is only showing as being processed and I have not received a dispatch email with tracking number. I can't phone CS cos it's DHs account and not mine and he is away. So, I sit and wonder!
I do all the ordering of everything, and sometimes an account is in my name and sometimes the hubby's name. And I always call CS with problems even if an account wasn't in my name. I also have the account numbers and any passwords needed at hand, too. I'd say call.

My little order arrived this morning, undamaged and delivered with a smile, the delivery driver said he had loads of Boots parcels to deliver today. I've just phoned CS, firstly to thank them for a trouble free first order and well packed, prompt delivery and also to enquire about the sale.
The lady I spoke to was very nice and confirmed that the sale will not be coming back online. She explained that on both occasions the site ran into problems due to the sheer volume of customers trying to place orders simultaneously, also some people were trying to checkout very large quantities and the system was querying it, therefore slowing it down for everyone. She spoke to more than one customer yesterday who was complaining that her order for 30 of one item, 20 of another etc etc wasn't going through, sounds like the "shelf clearers" have been trying it on the site as well as the stores :eek:
She did say that the stock that is left will be sent out to the stores where it will be available at sale price, until then if ordered from dot com it will be full price. Apparently though there is very little left.
Gotta feel for the CS staff on the frontline who are trying to sort this out :A

Yes they will be automatically refunding the next day delivery charge as the money hasnt been taken yet, they just take the amount for the goods when despatched minus the delivery charge.
I sent an email explaining i wasnt very happy and felt inconvienienced and let down.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Isn't it strange how they suddenly can transfer the stock from .com to the stores, yet for weeks they have been saying that they are 2 seperate companies & have no facility to do this!!
I agree with the others, they will obviously ship them with no warning & the SA's will get first pick, so unless we all take tents & camp out for the next XX days in the large stores, the chances of being instore when they arrive are minimal!
And even if they arrive in-store, what price will they charge??
The best we can hope is that they ship them for next Wednesday (28th) for the 90% reductions (I know, I'm hallucinating again! Blame the lack of sleep cos I was up till 3.30am!)
Its so infuriating! :mad: They need to update their website with accurate info, instead of leaving us hanging.......!!
