Breakfasts are wholemeal toast, cornflakes or yoghurt and dried fruit. O.J., tea, coffee and milk to drink - water the rest of the time. Snacks can be apples, bananas, satsumas, dried fruit, carrot or celery sticks, as well as the fruit flapjacks and dark fruit cake I made today. If anyone wants pudding, we have in the above-mentioned fruit and baked goods, or yoghurt.
Friday: (D) Pasta with pesto and mushrooms
Saturday: (L) At parents' house
(D) Salmon and coley curry with salad and garlic naans
Sunday: (L) Sage Yorkie pud, roasted carrots, peas, mash and gravy. Satsumas.
(D) Tomato soup and toast, followed by fruit flapjack.
Hubby's packed lunches all week are soup then cream cheese and celery sandwiches, an apple, banana, yoghurt and a fruit flapjack (as complained he is always still hungry after that lot)
Monday: (L) Free as at an event with the little one.
(D) Bean chilli (from the freezer) with rice.
Tuesday: (L) Mixed pulse and veg soup. Apple.
(D) Steak, chips, peas and sweetcorn.
Wednesday: (L) Mixed pulse and veg soup. Apple.
(D) Mixed pepper and lentil lasage with salad (make double to freeze).
Thursday: (L) Mixed pulse and veg soup. Apple. Edit: Not enough soup for everyone, so hubby has the soup and we had tuna mayo pasta with beetroot and watercress. Very nice indeed. Pleased I made enough for tomorrow's lunch too! DD requested a banana instead of apple too
(D) Mediterranean fish cakes with roasted carrots and sweetcorn. Edit: No sweetcorn left so will be having rest of the beetroot and steamed carrots instead.
Friday: (L) Soup with leftover veggies or cheese on toast. Apple. Edit: Tuna and beetroot pasta as above edit.Love and compassion to all x0 -
