  • I'm a long time lurker on this thread, and this is my first post. Not been planning for more than a few days but here goes...

Sunday - toad in the hole, mash for BF, peas, carrots and gravy
Monday - pasta bolognese with grated cheese
    Tuesday - something with chicken
Wednesday - something 'quick' a la beans on toast, as I'm not home for long after work before I go back out
Thursday - beef goulash (my brother went to Budapest and bought me a goulash pack which contains everything apart from the meat, my dad's a farmer and I've got some of his home produced Welsh black steak to cut up for the goulash)
    Friday - ?
    Saturday - ?

Breakfasts - hmmm toast, porridge with sultanas, orange juice
Lunch - hmmm bacon butty, soups, pasta n sauce (but they've taken away the microwave at work, so will struggle a bit!), leftover bolognese with jacket potato.

Not the most comprehensive meal plan I've every seen :rotfl:

  • Can I join in this week? I've never done a whole weeks meal plan before, although I regularly read this thread, and your meals always sound so much nicer than mine, but here goes. I've just planned for dinners, dd has lunch at school and dh takes packs, if anything I have leftovers, fruit or yogurt at lunchtime and we usually have porridge for brekkie, with a cooked plate on Sat or Sun.

    Mon: Stovies
    Tue: Chicken pie
Wed: Cauliflower cheese (Mr Be's guy style)
Thurs: Crispy cheese topped stovie bake
    Fri: Orzotto
Sat: Roasted cheese with bacon underneath or pie and beans
Sun: To celebrate Oor Rabbie's day -
    We'll be having;
    !!!!-a-Leekie Soup,
    Haggis, neeps, mashit tatties
    Cranachan cheesecake.

Well that's me done then. If anyone's judging our diet, we will be having veggies, I just don't know which ones yet.
