I get points for using my Tesco Credit Card when I buy at Tesco as well as the points in the shop.
But would I get more points if I used the ClubCard Plus Debit card instead of the Credit Card ?
    Thanks

Yes Clubcard plus (debit) 2 points per £1, credit card 1.5 points per £1.

Will use the idea of paying in money at CS desk the moment before I use it as creditted to account instantly (thanks spender) to ensure least loss of interest on cash.
cAN ANYBODY ADVISE IF YOU GET DOUBLE POINTS on fuel as well please?

Computer says yes (well the literature does!)

Can you pay money into this account using a credit card eg. American Express?

As far as I am away you can only add to the account through your standing order or as I do to top up cash at Customer Services. I tried to add additional funds over the phone once using my debit card but this was refused.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

I used to work for french life and was amazed by how many people paid for their hols with tesco points. We dont have a large tesco near us!!

I know now of course!! Thanks to this site!!!

Anyway, staff used to get approx 30% off the full price hols, people paying with Tesco points get the equivalent of 75%.

I use tesco.com as much as pos now, just to increase my points, it really is a great deal!!!! You can only use points on full priced holidays though, but if you are as fussy as me then I want to book prior to the sales to ensure I get what I want. If you want a villa for instance, it is very unlikely, that this will be in the sale anyway.

People used to get amazing deals with ski life, but I dont think they have this option anymore. May be worth checking out though. You cannot inc things like insurance and ski hire. The minimum spend is £500.

Get the brochure from the website to see which companies have signed up, there are other holiday companies too, inc cresta. :T
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

I am sure that you do but remember that you only get points at the petrol sites attatched to stores as most "express" sites have petrol supplied by petrol retailer even though Tesco staff deal with your purchase...you know for some reason I never buy petrol from them :rotfl:

Sorry may have given wrong impression here. I did mention that I am new to this. Our 2 Grandchildren are going free using the vouchers, value £1050. My husband and I are paying the £800 balance. total £1800 for 4 of us.

We booked with Bridge Travel and are travelling on a Tuesday to Tuesday basis as it is cheaper than Saturday to Saturday(the original quote was £3200 as we were going on a Bank Holiday Saturday). Also not having a lake view and booking "c" rooms. We have been a few times before and Switzerland is good in any catergory, and we are only sleeping in the room.We are staying in a village just outside Interlaken which is a great base to start from. If you need any more info let me know

No it isn't - you just get double points on the actual spend, so if you spend £50 on Groceries you get 100 points.

Last time I used my clubcard plus - which I've had since they started - I spent £23 and my receipt showed 23 points so i thought they's stopped doing double points. Does your receipt actually show double points or are they added later?

You get the other points from TPF - Tesco Personal Finance.

It should say on the bottom of your receipt...Total Includes: TPF Bonus Points
