Tesco Clubcard Plus is back...double points on all spending in store.

Just found this really helpful thread, and have another question if anybody can help...

I have just registered for a clubcard credit card, just phoned up for a clubcard plus, and my partner has a normal clubcard in his name that we both already use.

If we leave these as three separate accounts, can we then merge the vouchers to use on holiday deals? We have different names, (but the same address), and i'd hate to collect points only to find we can't spend them jointly!

In our situation what would you recommend we do?

Just had my welcome pack for cluncard plus - at last! However, reading it, I noticed it doesn't say anything about topping up at customer service, it just says about sending them on a cheque or telephone banking etc. Anyone know if they have stopped doing it at customer service? I had just put a minimum amount for DD as i was planning on topping it up before I do a shop at the desk.

Thank you, just thought it was a bit odd it didn't say it in the leaflet that came through (the welcome pack! - not that brilliant)!

Can someone please clarify something for me. If I spend £20 at Tesco and pay using a clubcard plus, do I get 40 points on my clubcard plus account and 20 on my normal clubcard account, making a total of 6o points

About to ring up and get one of these Clubcard plus cards.

At the moment I use my fiancee's clubcard when in store (infact we've been shopping today @ Goldsmiths with her points acumulated so far).

It says dont merge or something earlier in this thread, so should I get ccp in my name and hand over mine and hers at checkout ?, is that right ?.

Does the clubcard plus replace the clubcard, so If i got it in my details do I just use ccp at the tills or my ccp and fiancees cc ?.

Oh it's been a long weekend lol..........

ClubCard Plus replaces ClubCard.

You & your fiancee should both get ClubCard Plus then either of you can go shopping & collect maximum points.

Merging accounts means getting only one set of mailings of coupons/vouchers etc. so you benefit from having 2 separate accounts.

To be honest it's just for a better method of getting her more points to keep her in Diamonds from Goldsmiths. I collect them & she spends them.

Some women like Topaz, some like aquamarine, some like Saphires, trust mine to bloody like Diamond only lol.

EDIT: when we goto Tesco we're usually together 99.9% of the time and only I put petrol in so there wouldnt be any point in 2 account really would there ?.

yes there is cos you will get a mailing each so more extra points

Hi there

I have just started using my ClubCard Plus Card and have a wee query. When I do a shop for £20.00 my receipt says only 20 points earned this visit, should it say 40 points or are the extra added on later ?
