Hi I am new to the chat forum, so not sure if this is the kind of news you want to read - anyway - have just changed my Tesco club card points into holiday vouchers. Have saved them for just under two years. I have paid everything on my Tesco mastercard and paid the bill every month so as not to incur interest and logged up just over £250 in vouchers. I have just changed them into holiday vouchers to the value of £1050 and have booked to take 2 Grandsons to Switzerland for a week for Free! This has to be the greatest reward going. I couldn't afford to take the boys on my retirement pension but this way it is a real bonus. Worth thinking about Grandparents? :j

    Hi Sun Angel,

what holiday company did you book with to be able to go to Switzerland for a week for £1050?

Is it for 3 of you?

I have just over £250 in vouchers (including the ones that will be mailed soon!) and would love to go to Switzerland!)

    Any help appreciated

Got mine this morning and a leaflet for the savings account as well.

I rang up the number for Tesco Financial Services to get my application form.

I use my points for BA miles.

You can book via lots of holiday companies. £250 in vouchers will get you quite far in the world! Here's a list of all the companies you can book with and the brochures you can use...

I get points for using my Tesco Credit Card when I buy at Tesco as well as the points in the shop.
But would I get more points if I used the ClubCard Plus Debit card instead of the Credit Card ?
    Thanks

I think you get two points per £ spent in Tesco with the clubcard plus, and one and a half points for every £ with the credit card. I used to have both, but gave up the plus card a while ago because of the inconvenience of keeping enough money in the plus account and the loss of interest when it was sitting there. However what I did find out was that I used to get two lots of clubcard mailings , one for the credit card and one for the plus card( and so two lots of money off vouchers/ extra points etc ) which I don't now :( , and I did notice the points total on the statements were definitely a bit lower when I gave up the Clubcard plus. Nevertheless, I have decided just to keep the credit card and increase my points using codes instead, purely due to the inconvenience factor of having to keep track of exactly how much was in the plus account. Matter of personal preference I think.
  • You can phone Tesco up and have them add all your cards onto one account. It might however be more useful to keep the cards seperate and add points onto each. Then every time they send the vouchers you will get two copies of the complimentary vouchers as well as the Clubcard vouchers.
