Thanks to everyone for making me aware of this card :) I called up the customer services dept and requested for an application form but haven't received it yet. I had a question, can I also use my clubcard when I pay with a clubcard plus card?

I mean can I use the clubcard plus as the payment card and then use a clubcard as well? Currently I handover my clubcard to get the points and then the credit card, so I was just wondering if I could do the same with the clubcard plus, that way I could get 3 points for each £1 I spend.

Sorry if the above doesn't make much sense :o

The clubcard plus is a clubcard in itself, so you don't need to hand over 2 cards.

If you did, then the likelyhood is that you will get the points on your normal clubcard, hence only single points.

I've just rang up for mine and was easy as pie for requesting one. Just asked for name, dob & address & in the post it comes. They didn't ask how I'd found out about the card or anything.

Double points here I come :D

Yes, it was pretty much the same for me as well :) However, the form took almost 2 weeks to arrive. They have asked for identification and verification documents which is always a pain. Hopefully should post these out sometime this week

Are you allowed to have a Tesco CC & a Tesco Clubcard plus?
Take it you can as one is a CC & one like a debit card.

I've had both CC and clubcard + since I started this thread back in jan 2006...haven't merged no probs at all.

All non tesco spending goes on the CC, all instore spending on the CC+..

  • Hi. Not sure if this post will work as its my first time on here. I first heard of clubcard plus when i rang Tesco Finance to order a new pin number for my Instant Access Savings account. One of the options mentioned clubcard plus so when i came of the phone i googled it and this is the site that gave me the info.

Always after better deals i thought i'd give them a ring to see if this was still available. All they took was my name and address and it is now in the post.....hopefully i'm on my way to double points soon!!!

I'll keep you updated and let you all know how it turns out....this website is great. Can't believe i have never come across it before!.....Thanks!

Do they do a credit check for this then, I have just moved house and am not on the electoral list in my new property just yet, if they do I may have to wait a few weeks before applying?

    Thanks!
