Hi Tufty_B The message you've quoted me on was dated Jan 2006...this thread keeps being resurrected every now and then! Those of us who got a tesco credit card before 2007 get a rate of 3 points for every £2 spent in Tesco, the new rate is not so good. And I agree, you have answered your own question!
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
  • Our last tesco credit card statement ("Finest Platinum "!!??) had a flyer printed on the bottom --"double clubcard points , exclusive , every time you use your card to pay online " . Tesco are Not paying me, and seem to think we've made it all up. Has anyone else seen this or had a similar problem ?

Is there anyway to get your ClubCard Plus to be put in the card machine whilst paying ?.

My signiture is rarely the same twice, especially when their is a queue forming and I feel I need to rush & more and more till workers are askign for more ID to confirm it is me, which is fair enough it's just their job.

But i'd feel more at ease just inputting a Pin like I do with my debit card.

    I had this too.

The way i read it though it's when you use your tesco credit card for purchases at Tesco.com only...not any online purchase.

Thanks to OP for this it sounds like a good deal. Might also help with my grocery challenge, if I pay in what I want to spend that day it will stop me buying rubbish.

Yes Clubcard Plus is still around and the good news is that they don't do a credit check (unless you apply for an overdraft facility).

Just ring up Tesco Personal Finance and ask for an application form (the number is on their website). Unfortunately, the whole application is done via snail mail so it does take a few weeks to set up - but you'll soon be racking up those points!

I will be getting my first full Clubcard Plus quarter this August and I can't wait to see just how many points I get!!!

    Good luck!

Just been looking at this link for trading in vouchers http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=143&bci=4294967232|Holidays*4294967230|Europe
Now this might be a dumb question but do I have to cash in my vouchers and then see what is available?

    Thanks.

Not sure why the link is not working!!!

    It's Holidays....Europe...French Life

When we booked our holiday with Haven last year through Tesco Deals, first I rang Haven and got a price for the holiday I wanted (informing them that I'd be paying with deals tokens). I then sent off the appropriate number of Clubcard vouchers to Tesco to pay for the holiday and received my Deals tokens just a few days later.

I then rang Haven back to book my holiday (amazingly the holiday had gone DOWN in price in 5 days!!) and sent the Deals tokens off to them within the required time.

I'm guessing a similar thing would work for you too? If you ring French Life they should be able to advise you too.

    Good luck!
