I am happy with Linux as i only want to surf on it when i'm away, but the only downfall is i really miss Microsoft Outlook for accessing my emails, so would consider Windows just for that purpose really.
Unless there's a way to config my Virgin media mail to come through the linux mail option..? Hmm, off for a look... EDIT: Ooo! There is!!! Yay.
Thanks again for indirectly persuading me ya'll!
You could try taking a look at Evolution http://projects.gnome.org/evolution/
The basic functionality is like any mail client:
The People who make firefox have a mail client call Thunderbird http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/thunderbird/
This has the familiar 3 pane layout:
While Evolution is Linux only Tbird is Mac, Windows and Linux. I'd be surprised if a mail client was not bundled with the Acer, or available as an optional free download.Seth.0 -

Did you power them up to check! Most of the ones bought are boxed up and labelled as 120gb, but are found to be 160gb on power up and checking system.0 -

They appeared to only have the blue, and the one I got was the 120gb version.
I can't see myself ever needing that much space on such a small device though, so i'm not too fussed missing out.0 -

Yes I think all the Asda ones are blue, which is the colour I wanted
Still very good value for 120gb, although I went back and exchanged my 120gb for 160gb - staff said no problem.0 -
Rang our 2 local branches this morning, only one of them had one left! Quickly got over there (they had held it for us till we got there). Got someother shopping on the way home, DH has just opened the box and..........no laptop!
Rang the store and apparently it's in the display cabinet! So we are just off to collect it - the serial number on the box and the unit match, so they know we are not pulling a fast one (hopefully).
Will post back once [strike]I've[/strike] DH has had a play with it!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!

There's still some in Asda Stafford, got mine about an hour ago. £150 is fantastic for a netbook! 160gb version too!
The staff didn't know about the lower price but offered to check for me, great customer service as always0
