Hi, I hope that I can find some good ideas from the posters here as to what I can cook for my OH for Valentines. We were going to get the M&S meal deal for £20 as we have some vouchers to use, but I thought if I could make a nice meal from what we have in that would be even better.

    List of foods I have:

    Chorizo
    King Prawns
    Chicken breast
    Fancy large meatballs
    Mushrooms
    Carrots
    Potatoes
    Spaghetti & pasta shapes
    Rice & risotto rice
Frozen peppers, peas, sweetcorn & cauliflower - seperate bags not mixed.
    Tinned cherry tomatoes in sauce

A full store cupboard with spices, stock cubes, flour etc

I've listed the items I see can be used as 'posh' meals with a bit of imagination, plus the fresh & frozen veg.

Any ideas? Preferably for starter & main, not to fussed for dessert TBH as we have some posh ice cream we can have.

    Thanks for your help.

How about to start with baked potato skins filled with finely chopped chorizo and chives mashed up with the potato you took out and topped with cheese. Then for your Main course chicken breast done in creamy mushroom sauce served with vegestables and roast potatoes or rice.
