Can I ask you a question ? Do you get benefits ?

Obviously you're just asking so that you can give more helpful advice like you did in the post below, right?
Also why do you think it is ok for you to come on here and tell everyone what you got shopping ? How can you think its ok for you to go and spend £40 on a pair of jeans or buy designer glasses when your on is and other benefits ? These are meant to help support the family when there is no income not for dressing up.
If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.
  • **An idea for the mods**

Create a board for whingers/moaners. We could call it the "Woe is me" board.

We could even have a sub-board for the "Uninformed" who think there taxes only pay for those who are on benefits and dont realise that they have the following when it is required - free education, free healthcare, unemployment/welfare system, plus much more.
  • Your point being. That post has no refrence to anything that it has been said in this thread and I dont have a woe is me problem I am fully aware what tax money pays for I am not talking about anything else other than the benefits that are being paid to people who should not get them
  • Where does it state in my post that this is directed just at you?

My post does have reference to posts in this thread. There are people posting about how they get nothing even though they have always paid tax, blah blah blah.

This board is for giving benefits advice, not for people to come in and complain with a "Woe is me" attitude because someone is getting benefits and don't work.

I, personally, have never claimed a benefit in my life. I have always been employed. But I don't come in here moaning about it. And I probably pay more than my fair share of taxes!
  • I came on here to agree with the op post at no point did you have to join in and i pay more than my share in taxes too !!!

Really? Do you voluntarily pay more than is required of you under taxation law? Or do you resent paying your fair share?

It is getting beyond a joke. There are so many people saying "I have paid tax all my life" and now they deserve their money back etc. The funny thing is some of these people turn out to be in their early 20's!

This is not aimed at one person in particular but the numerous posts we have had on this recently.
  • I was agreeing with subsoniccoyote. I am now leaving this post and this website. God forbid you have a a view on a subject all you get is abuse
