Wow it sounds like you've all been busy! I absolutly love those butterflies Violetta :happyhear just the colour purple I'm using too.......I wonder how hard it is to make something similar?.....
Thanks for the tip about Green & Blacks Aimee, I'll have to pop into Sain's. glad to hear your hair trial went well too. I'm not 100% I liked mine enough so might have to make another appointment with the hairdresser
Let us know how things go Steph ((hugs))
your ring sounds lovely SammyI finally dragged OH into town and have now put down the deposits for our rings. Mine is just a very simple band at £149 and OH's is a palladium ring at £250 so we're just under budget at £399
Now just got to get OH to agree on some readings, music and get the wedding list sorted!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I just called Trailfinders re the final balance for our honeymoon, and the booking is in my married name as I'm changing my passport shortly. Anyway, when I asked to speak to my travel consultant, the chap on the phone asked who I was and I gave them my married name and its just hit me that that's gonna me by new name in 2 months time. It felt sooooooo strange saying it. I keep saying it now - it doesnt feel real lol.
Crazy girl0 -
Totally understand what you're saying Sammy
Its going to take ages to get used to a new surname, after all I've had my current one for a while!
I'm freaking slightly about changing my signatureCurrently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Me too about the signature...! I just can't work out a new one that looks right...I'll end up with both initials being K so it doesn't make for a particularly flowing or pretty signature. I'm even having momentary thoughts of I don't want to lose my name...0

Oh, I've had a BM drop out
Her dress doesn't fit (third dress we've tried and it's the largest they do) and she doesn't feel comfortable. I totally understand and am not upset. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable - I want her to enjoy the day. Am I bad for not feeling too upset that she's not my BM - she is my oldest friend.0 -
No its not bad, you just want her to be comfortable and enjoy the day. She probably feels bad as you naturally will, but if you have tried three then you dont really have many other options.0

I agree with Steph, at the end of the day the most important thing is she is there to share your day and you would only be worried if she wasnt comfortable. Did you not consider getting a custom made dress from landy?0 -
Violetta,
I have received my silver butterflies from Etsy... Not that great, just printed on transparent plastic and then handcut to shape. A bit disappointing but for only £7.5/// Who's gona complain."Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

Aaaarrgh!! I saw the cream taxi I want for my wedding but it was accross the other side of the shopping thigmybobber carpark(place with loads of shops around a giant carpark, you know what I mean, my brains away with the fairies today). I did think of chasing after it:eek: but thought that might be a bit wierd and I was already 30 mins late to go pick up my oh from his work (why do 3 yr olds always need the loo when you are at the furthest point away from the loo's in the supermarket) then when we got to his work we had to wait 15 mins on him finishing up anyway so I could have stalked the Taxi.
Mad french girl I must admit I was a wee bit dissappointed in the butterflies (can't believe how quick they got here from Australia though) but I gave my daughter 1, she would not put it down for 2 hours, she loves butterflies. When she did put it down it was on the white toilet cistern (I'm sensing a theme here) well anyhoo the butterfly looked great against the white so I think I am going to stick with putting them on my cake, not sure the best way to bend the wings a wee bit without damaging them though?
Oh and I've booked my hair trial, oh it's going to come in quick this wedding.Booo!!!0 -
oh it's going to come in quick this wedding.
Too right - 9 weeks for us August 8 ladies now, down to single figures
What's your date Violetta, I can't find you on the first page?
Have you tried contacting your local council regarding the cream taxi? I think it would have to be registered with them and they might be able to get the driver to get in touch with you0
