Hey Nic, well I didn't get any sleep last night- wasn't very well. I went out this morning (with H2B in tow begrudgingly) and he actually picked the florist. She was lovely- we didn't have an appointment or anything but she spent loads of time with us and we were pleased with the prices so we booked up there and then. Thanks for asking hun x
  • Hope your feeling better soon, thats another thing to tick off your list:j I am dress shopping tomorrow, rather exited lol

Nic, meant to ask, did you get in touch with the woman about the flowers? I booked to go try on dresses on monday. shop by mine does a "VIP experience" they open the shop between 6-9pm for you alone and you get bubbly and nibbles and no one else but you and your friends are there. Should be fun

    Hi girls,

Well it sounds as if our planning is coming along well. Congrats Aimee on choosing your flowers :j My friend is supposed to be doing mine, but I haven't spoken to her for a little while - so I may have to get onto that lol. I'm quite interested in these "foam flowers" that are on another thread though.

Nic, I'm so excited for you going dress shopping - you're going to love it! Are you taking anyone with you?? I'm so jealous - wish I could shop for my dress again lol. Let us know if you find "the one" and post some piccies!! Do you know what style you're after?

I went round MIL2B last night to drool over my dress again - we got it out of the bag and put it against the shoes - I cannot wait to wear it!! Am now going to order the rest of my BM dresses at the end of March as a couple want to lose some more weight!

I feel a bit more proactive today - phoned the venue and yes my mum can pay by cc so she can get her airmiles (we have to pay her back tho :o ), no they don't have a piano and their table number holders are silver :( ....which doesn't sit well with me for a gold and ivory theme lol. I saw some gold holders in Confetti for £4.99 each, so I may have to get those and try and flog them on ebay after!

I still need to book the cake, first night hotel and my first fitting - I'll try and get these done tomorrow!

Girls, I need your help. Been looking at wedding rings and cant seem to find any within my budget. My engagement ring is platinum with a princess cut (square) diamond in.
I would love my wedding ring to have diamonds in aswell and I think they would also need to be princess cut instead of round but the cheapest I can find is £1,000  which is way more than we had budgeted. OH isnt bothered about his ring so found his for about £90. He has also suggested getting a white gold one temporarily and will replace it in a few years but I dont like the thought of having to do that, Any ideas where I can look?
