BHS have flat shoes for under £30. You could also get some of those indian slippers from ebay for under a tenner- they are so pretty!

    Good Evening Ladies :)

I haven't had a chance to go through the thread - but I will :)

I just had to post about the bargain I got today. My mum's down for the weekend and I met her in John Lewis. She had been looking at the shoe section and said that there were a few Rainbow Club shoes for £10!! We went over, and there were 4 pairs of the crustiest bridal shoes you could imagine. But amongst them was a perfect size 8 pair of these exact shoes:

Now these are slightly higher than I would have gone for, but I love them!!! And they only cost £10 :j :j :j

We also went to the Confetti shop in London to buy the stuff for the invites, and all stationery was 20% off :)

So all in all a good wedding day :)

Lucky girl! They're gorgeous and what a bargain! If only I could get hold of Rainbow Club Josephine for a tenner. Unfortunately I live nowhere near a John Lewis.

    Thanks Aimee :)

I do love them, but I don't think I would pay £75 for them  H2B was pleased when I told him. Every penny I save on our budget will go towards our honeymoon spends :)

How's your planning going? Ooohh less than 6 months for you :) Do you have any plans for V day? We're not doing much as h2b wants to work to save for the wedding lol. I think I might get him out for some lunch tho .

Have never 'celebrated' to be honest. We might go out for a meal later on in the week. We are the same with the honeymoon spends.

is anyone else here not having a colour theme for their wedding? i've decided not to bother, mainly to save money and also because i cant be bothered trying to find coloured coordinated things. yet lots of wedding websites i've looked at have a lot of emphasis on colour themes

Im afraid I cant help as Ive had my colour theme picked for ages (white, silver and dark purple) but plenty of people dont. At the end of the day its what you feel better with. you could always just do something like red which gives you something to match your BMs or black looks quite nice with the white and is so easy to match

    Hi Kira,

We're having gold and ivory as our colours, but I don't think I would call it a colour theme as such. Those are the colours that me and the BMs are in, and we're just going to fit the table decs, stationery etc around those colours. I might throw a bit of dusky pink in tho, just to break up the colours lol

If you're going to have a white or ivory dress, then that will be one of our colours. And then your other colour will be what you dress your BMs in, and then just fit your table decs and stuff around that. You'll find that people have other themes as well, eg butterflies, hollywood glamour etc, but we couldn't think of anything like that so we'll just make sure that the colours match lol
