sorry about the news Luc - not good timing. When I was made redundant my colleague was on maternity leave and they tried to force her into a lower banded job (good old Cruella, eh?) but she stuck to her guns that a highly qualified graphic designer did not have to take a basic admin. post and she took the redundancy, which she wanted. She didn't want to work there with that woman!

Talking of Cruella, (those who've known me a while will know who I mean ;) ) I am meeting with 2 former colleagues tomorrow lunch as I'm going to my old organisation to pay in a charity donation. With such a huge site, the chance of seeing her whilst there is small, but possible. The fundraising office is part of her department, so I'm guessing it will get back to her that I've been in.

If I do see her, I will probably be terrified inside, but I'm going to put my drama degree to some use (finally!) and give her a big smile.

Or poke her eyes out in a quiet corner. One or the other.

Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Well thanks for all you do - we need more like you. Telly sounds exciting - your unit or the County?

My Brownies are deciding on their 'Changing the World' project next week and our County launch is getting really exciting. I shall be going to everything in 1 capacity or another.:D

Both i think..it was a bit of a garbled speech from district.

I like the changing world theme. Have you seen the freebie download on the freebie thread about countryside? Maybe some useful tips on there for you.

I am taking my official camping badge this next year so i can do a bit more as well..

  • I think they will be Maz..i shall enjoy them. I reckon the Northeast contingent will be good as there was a big display at Alnwick castle a year ago talking about the lead up to it all.
