Moooooooorning campers!
How's everyone this bright (well, not quite yet) and cheery morning?
Today, I are mostly be working then coming home and perhaps tackling the ironing pile before DH adds waaaaaaay more to it and it becomes an IRONING mountain!
Woke up with a stinky cold as predicted after night of DS coughing in my face but hey ho....
Happy Days!:j

Morning! Can't believe I'm up so early, woke up around 4 and couldn't sleep after that. Dunno why, not even feeling tired.
Got a busy day ahead of me, need to get lots of housework done as well as a few other bits in town. Hope everyone is doing ok today!Keep the Faith!0 -
Morning all.
Took my car in to the garage yesterday and am waiting for 'the phone call'. You know the one where they give you the really bad news. All of this means that my DFD may not be when I get my new mastercard statement becuase i'll need to add car repairs to the card:mad:
After giving my beloved brother a lift all last week and Mon & Tue this week his GF has changed her plans meaning she needs her car for work today and tomorrow so I've had to catch the bus this morning . I suddenly remembered why I love driving into work. No one coughing or sneezing over me, no one pressed up against me, squashing me into a window...
Anyhoo I managed yesterday to phone a few plumbers and arrange for four of them to come round to give me a quote to replace and resite the radiator in Evie's bedroom! The carpenter quoted £180 for all the work which I'm not going to argue with cos I've heard he's really good and I do want the work doing (I'm sick of waiting for Wayne to do it). All this means I may be able to go carpet shopping at the weekend for a carpet for her bedroom (as well as finish off the first coat of paint before I start colour swatching on the walls to pick the nicest colour (must buy a shower cap for when I do the ceiling).
Anyway, I'm NOT looking forward to catching the bus home again tonight and then I may have to do it all again tomorrow.
