Hi and welcome IsoChick
What's dog training? Pups or naughty doggies?
Maz - yes there is, you're right! I usually hate phoning into work because you think it sounds SO pathetic but I phoned my boss and had to leave voicemail and it was satisfyingly clear what is wrong with me!
Bun I wondered the same - Luc I am betting you will have the baby 10 days early0 -
Morning all! First post on one of these threads....
Am at work, but my boss is on a course until tomorrow, so I can listen to the radio, get my filing done and leave a bit earlier - yay!
I've got my first phone call from CCCS today about our debt, so that should be interesting.
Went to dog training last night, so me and the dogs are totally knackered today - think it'll be an early night tonight!
hello Iso! welcome to the madhouse!
dog training eh? I can't see my 2 springers being up for any of that malarky!
What kinda dogs do you have?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Oh and Luc, yes you missed things yesterday - Snaggles OH committing major and unforgivable twuntage  and the beautiful Snags is moving on, moving up and gaining strength on her own.0

we don't own our house... rented housing association...
my brother is mad, he has a house from same people, admittedly he has lived there for probably 18-20 years, he is ripping out perfectly serviceable bathroom and over shower thingy and fitting new walk in shower and new bathroom fittings... IN A RENTED HOUSE!! i said to my mum, he must lie in bed thinking of things to spend his money on!
He's already fitted a new kitchen, although TBH i would like to do the same...:o
re the car insurance, i would be insured to drive any car, provided that car had it's own insurance IYSWIM.... which this one doesn't at present... i don't see how i am any more deserving than anyone, just got lucky really that this one came along when mine is playing up.... will miss my boy racer motor though!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

RESULT BOOKIE!! You sounded like you needed a busy day like a hole in the head!
I took my mam out for her tea yesterday, to say thanks for staying in with carpet man, and being cheeky enough to ask him to lay lino for cash in pocket!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Morning all
DD - Hope you're feeling better sooner rather than later - don't over do the glossing, the fumes might make your throat worse.
Luc - Can't remember if a note pad and pen were on your hospital bag list but if not, pop one in - very handy when your brains gone to mush....I ended up being in 8 days with my 1st after an emergancy section so it was handy to be able to list the things I needed OH to bring in or remember to do at home. (might be worth putting a list of phone numbers in it too - when you're not allowed to turn your mobile on you realise just how few numbers you can actually remember)
Today I shall mostly be doing sweet FA...I'm having a "blugh" day where the motivation's obviously hiding under the bed and won't come out to play.
Off to Olympia tomorrow to a schools IT exhibition thingy - got a group of 6, 10 year old girls to supervise for the day - lovely  ....I'm looking forward to the freebies though.
Bookie - what sort of volunteer work do you do?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
