Ooooh quick tip about laminate/wooden floors: don't hoover them, damp mop (sweep first if you live in a pig sty like we do). It will pick everything and no dust bunnies............still have that weird bathroom fluff though

I'm dreading updating my signature. I feel like I'm taking one step forward and two back!
My debts have gone up by £462  .
I've just robbed my kids savings to put electricity on the key meter. Does that make me a bad mum?
I feel like crap today. Sorry everyone.

I have just been informed my job is under threat of redundancy...

That's awful news! Chin up, everything will sort themselves out! Could they have left any sooner before you went on maternity!

OMG Luc, when will you find out?? I would also be wary that its you they make redundant knowing you are about to go on Mat leave...keep an eye on that

They will complete the scoring tomorrow so we know before the weekend so at least it will be quick! I just spoke to HR woman who was there and she assured me that as we are beyond the 11 week point my maternity leave/pay is secure but I will probably not get the bonus I would have got for coming back to work.

And its not just me - there are 9 positions under review.

    Timing isn't great though
    26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%
    28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%

Have a hug RM, I think we have all gone backwards in tackling our debts at some point. My HSBC debt is still going up and its depressing when I see what I am paying and they keep adding more interest. When you have the money you can pay back the money to your children and give them a bit extra. The main thing at the moment is you have to live!

Dont let it go without checking out the Legal side Luc. Nothing so powerful as maternity matters when it comes to claiming comp off of employers.
