hi all
hugs to all those who need, deserve or simply want some
in all honesty i havent read todays thread as today has been nothing short of chaotic for me
all started everso well and i was in town by 9am with a set list of things to do
was back in our rural buit of worcester by 11.30 and feeding donkey trying to avoid going home and starting the ironing
by 12 all hell had broken loose and i have spent the last five hours ferrying to and from worcester hopsital where an uncle has been taken
he is the youngest??!! at 78 and i have been trying to calm/placate/comfort/reassure the other six very close older brothers ( 4 still live together!!) including my dad
anyway am home till i need to collect again after visiting time at 8 - so did a quick omelette as per meal plan, popped into tescos to get the 5 energy saving light sticks for 29p offer!!! (only ten light builbs in the entire house so thats ten years worth of light taken care of for 58p!)
got the whole philip pullman series of books that start with 'the ruby in the smoke' from library as they came recommended so will hopefully have a soak in the tub with the first one and a nice glass of wine later
i do hope you all had a nice day and i am sorry for not reading0 -
Evening everyone, it's nice to see so many old faces again.
Not been around much as life has been hell on earth here and I only just had enough energy for coping. I've ended up in horrendous debt, not my fault but don't really want to go into why. So here I am back again for hope, inspiration and the occasional hug!0 -

However, the puter is still freezing and forcing us to reboot, though at least it does log in relatively quickly now. The OH is doing a re install of IE this afternoon to see if that helps.
My puter kept freezing, locking up etc despite having AVG anti-virus on it. It was suggested to me on a tech forum that I download, install and run the following:
Glary Utilities and Spybot Search & Destroy
They will take care of any trojan and registry problems you have as a result of the trojan.

Hello,
Sorry to hear about your nephew Redruby. I have a 15 year old daughter and they are very naive at that age and still need protecting.
Today I made chocolate cake with my 4 year old and I took her down to the park.
Had a lovely bit of Brisket for supper with mash, carrots and peas. The problem was the brisket was so good that there is very little left and I had been planning for it to last 2 meals.
Tomorrow I'm planning to spend no more than a £1 at the coffee morning and that's it for the rest of the day.
((((Hugs)))) to all that need it.

Vet kept Luca this morning, he has a heart murmer, some kind of thyroid problem, low blood count and one kidney is very small...they have put him on a drip, vitamins and an antibiotic and will see how he goes to-morrow, seems that all could be caused by thyroid, it may be overactive which is why he has become so thin in spite of eating well. They will ring around noon to let me know how he is getting on...poor old thing, hope that he can recover at least somewhat and just pop his clogs here some night, no surgery as it is too traumatic for an elderly animal, hopefully medication can keep him going for another while in some comfort
DS3 horrified that I am spending €300 on investigations for a CAT, but he's mine and its my money so I told him where to get off.
Night all, hugs if needed or wanted

Hi everone,
Moggins, good to see you back, but sorry for the reason. Do you ever hear from Kazonline, she's another old stalwart I miss?
Came home early from work with a terrible headache and slept for a few hours. Still feel a bit fragile so DH got fish & chips for dinner. Must go and sort the kitchen before I drag myself back to bed. Hope I feel better tomorrow, we've got 2 classes of children visiting the office to look at our roman museum and i'm the only one with enough knowledge to talk about it.
