Hope its ok to come back. Sorry for my tantrum I just can't figure why people come on here just to upset others who need support.
Thank you everyone else for the support.

I saw the GP who was furious with the out of hours for his lack of concern, there is a potentially fatal condition that can happen with those meds and a rash and itching is the first sign.

So he has changed me to yet another one. I'm feeling very down about it really this will be the 3rd med I have tried and still have no control. My black dog wants me to shut myself away and never come out but my real black dog won't allow it.

I have read back, hope everyone has a better day and (((((HUGS))))) to those who need them.

There's no need to apologise, it's just great to see you back here Sandy71. I hope that doesn't sound daft :D since it's rotten luck that any of us have to be here at all, because of our bloomin' black mutts .

I can relate to how you feel, since I've had a couple of bad reactions to meds. One was Septrin with a similar allergic reaction to those you mentioned and the other put me in hospital with anaphylactic shock . I do hope that this new drug works out for you and you don't have any more bother.

I'm in a bad way physically at present with pain and this has kicked off the CFS and the sleep disorder so I've got a permanent thumping head, tinnitus and my feet are so sore it hurts to stand up. I feel so guilty as this is the second day I have spent on the sofa and I haven't crossed the doors since last Friday :o. Apart from this I'm still rocking :rotfl:.

It's been an upsetting morning as well, as I noticed a young lad across the very busy main road, sitting on the ground outside a disused builder's yard. Admittedly he was drinking, but also holding his head in his hands and sobbing. Both wrists were bandaged so heaven knows what demons were tormenting him. I really did not know who to phone - and if anyone can tell me in case this ever happens again I'd be grateful. I called the Samaritans and asked them in the end as I couldn't help thinking that it could have been my son in this state. They said to phone the police which I was not happy with, as I didn't want them adding to his problems, although they assured me that if necessary they would get him to somewhere - where he could be assessed. I phoned them and thankfully they were there in minutes, I only hope he is okay. I don't know if I've done the right thing, quite a few people passed and looked at him, but just kept walking. Anyway it really made me think and feel all the more guilty of course for sitting on the bloody sofa interfering :o.

I hope everyone is okay and not suffering too badly with the weather, it's really windy here and of course it is bin day  so no doubt we will have the usual scenario of wheelie bins careening into the middle of the road, once they're emptied. It's no use the local authority saying that they have to be taken in straight away, when the majority of people are out working . It keeps the local police busy getting them out of the way of the traffic though :D.
Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever :D

    Heya everyone.

Hugs to everyone who need them. :)

I'm exhausted already and I only went out for lunch.
Have a doctors appointment later to discuss my extreme exhaustion. I discussed it before with her but she said if I'm still like it after a month to go back, so that's what I'm doing. :)

    Afternoon all.

I wasn't sure I'd get online today; my computer has been having hissy fits all day.

MessedUp I wish there was something I could do to help you; if I could only round up all the Black Dogs and take 'em to dog training classes.....

Sandy I'm glad you've come back. I don't understand people who just want to stir it, either. Tbh, I don't waste precious energy bothering with them.

Unity you poor lamb, you're going through the mill, aren't you. Regarding the young man.... I think you did the right thing. As Mr LW says, you do the best you can in the circumstances.

CG the scary face sounds most unpleasant. Never had to deal with that exactly, but have felt a "presence" in the room on many occasions.

LadyM good luck at the doc's.

:hello:to everyone else. Sorry if I've missed anyone, I want to get this posted before 'puter goes off into la-la land again.

  • LM- hope you get some sense out of your doc. mine whose usually very good just said i must get tired coz im thinking all the time! errr?

Unity- i think you did the right thing with that lad, i hope hes ok too, if the police/ambulance hadnt been called when i ODd id be dead now

Sandy- i dont reckon you had a tantrum at all! some people on here just want to provoke others for some unknown reason, i cant se what they get out of it personally.
  • i need some 'brave' for tomorrow! ive been asked to go on twice at the stakeholder day, once to do an activity based on emotions that the kids really enjoyed over summer and again to talk about the book and dyslexia. STRESSING is not the word!

    Thanks guys.

All the doctors I've seen before have said that too, crazy_girl. This is the only one so far who has taken me seriously. I had Glandular Fever this year and I was also anaemic but I'm better now and still exhausted. Been having other symptoms that I've been trying to ignore too (to the extent where I won't be around OH when I'm experiencing them incase he worries about me) but it's got to the point where I can't take it anymore. :(
