They are going to 'advocate' for me - help me communicate with my care co-ordinator and resolve the issues I'm having. Hopefully find me some help! They also know of local charities and groups that can help.
I'm not too great, struggling at the moment - just having so many assessments but nothing every happens. I'm hoping PALS involvement will finally get me some help.
I'm not able to take much medication as I'm breastfeeding, and it means my depression/anxiety is quite unmanageable.
Hopefully PALS will be able to help with the advocating, feelinggood.
Have you thought about swapping to bottle feeds? It may help if you can start to manage your depression / anxiety again.
I know people say breast is best, but in some cases that isn't always the case, so perhaps it is something to considerCould you talk to your HV?

RBK sorry you don't feel safe now. Are you able to call your crisis team for support. We will be thinking about you and I hope you have a safe night.0

The HV and CMHT aren't that supportive of breastfeeding and would rather I stop, but it isn't really an option. It is the only positive thing I do, my only real accomplishment. It definitely helps me - lowers risk of overdose, controls my bulimia and makes baby easier to look after. I've thought about it at length and breastfeeding is still right for us. Thanks for the suggestio though
PALS chap is phoning back today. I usually feel a better in the morning and lower in the evening, but the feeling from last night carried over which isn't good.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Morning everyone. Hope everyone is feeling a bit better today.
I managed to take the kids to school on my own today for the first time in ages, I felt sick and was shaking like a leaf but I feel quite proud of myself.
FG PALS are brilliant, they sorted something out for us with no stress involved. They even wrote the complaint letter for us. Hope it goes well today.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -

FG, I know what you mean about the breast feeding, I had really bad PND after I had my youngest and breast feeding was the only thing that made me feel "normal". I felt like it was the only thing I could do properly for her and no one else could.Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Will do, thanks.
Hope all goes well at the Doctor's Sandy.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
