rachel that might be an idea, the safe
i know that people would miss me a bit, im not thick, but they would get to see how much easier and happier they would be without me too so it would all balance up i reckon
ive tied everything up, im not leaving a mess, any debts or anything0 -
Sandy glad you and your husband had a good chat. Maybe moving up north to be with your family would be better for you both.
As for those inconsiderate posts wind the poster up by ignoring them and report any abuse.
Dmg24 sorry your going through a rough patch. Did you go to the psychiatrist? I hope the session went better than last time. If your not happy with him maybe ask for a change of psychiatrist.
Whitevanwoman thanks for the link I will look it up later as I should be feeding the hoards.0 -

The only real major problem with the NHS is that people value what they pay for which in the case of the NHS is nothing so many people dont value it.
Scrapping the NHS?
How do you get that from someone posting about the flaws of the NHS?
The gap from seeing the Pshychiatric consultant for the assesment to seeing the Physchotherapist for the first therapy session will be around 11-12 months with a complete lack of any phsychological support between those dates.
If you think that is helpful to the people suffering day in day out then your views on mental illnesses are more warped than some of your posts on this thread had originally lead me to believe.
And as for the 'see right through you' comment, if you had as real a grasp on depression, anxiety etc as you make out you'd know how much that's going to screw with someones head.
So if as i believe your goal in posting on this thread is to upset people then congratulations you've succeeded!

Hi everyone,
Just popping in to say 'hello'.
I want 2010 to be more positive for me than last year. My ssri dose has been doubled (at last) and I am feeling better than I was. Had a horrible experience with GPs last week which made me feel suicidal. Honestly, quite often I think it's a case of the mentally ill leading the mentally ill...
Despite this I turned around quite quickly, I think I'm realising it's all down to me now.
Had a nice Christmas time with family which helped immensely. Felt nice to be a child again with no sense of any even slight hint of responsibility or stress.
Tackling my diet at last.
Long may this bit of positivity continue, as we all know it's fragile..
I haven't checked up on everyone's posts yet so will just say X0X0X0X to anyone who has been or is feeling s***. The ice is a pain but SPRING is next!! eventually.
One of my 'resolutions' is to not engage in negativity on MSE or get into fights but I will say I am sorry to see that people are still being harangued on this support thread..
Anyway, ttfn, anyone feel free to PM me any time to chat/vent or whatever, I'm not on MSE so much at the mo but will always reply to any messages when I am on.

Hi Rachel, I didn't see your post but I hope you are feeling a little better now. Do you have a CPN?
Hi Sandy, sorry to hear about the row you had with your OH. Hopefully he's just gone to cool down. Oh and I agree with everyone else, your children are better off with you. You have to remember it's the depression that's maing you think otherwise. I am sure you are a great Mum.
Hi dmg, sorry to hear about the self-harming and the virus. I hope you feel better soon. Did you make it to the psych. today?

Hello RBK, how are things with you? Are you getting anywhere with the team? Just thought I'd let you know that I'm having a phonecall with someone from the local PALS (think they cover your area too?) tomorrow, he is going to liase with the Mental Health Team and try and get me some help. Have you thought about something like that?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
