please help! cant cope anymore!

i am so upset i cant even speak, all suggested agencies have different solutions to problems and i am just getting more and more confused, frustrated and helpless. i have just rang halifax after being press ganged into speaking to the collections to see if we could come to an agreement where i could pay a lesser amount in one go and they were having none of it apparently interest is added monthly so cant freeze it and wont give deduction of any sort. on paper i am well off to the tune of £500 a month, god knows where it is though? have another intervies with cccs on 13th feb to go over budget again to see if something was missed. they have said i should do a dmp with this £500 if i cant find it how can i give it to them. bankruptcy seem impossible as they will want approx £375 of my £500 in an IPA why cant my husband just do the decent thing and pay half of these debts and stop all this madness????????????

Please try again, saying just what you've said here - you don't feel you want anyone else there at the present. They will understand. You don't have to have them at your home if you don't want to. They'll arrange somewhere secure and anonymous for you to meet, if that feels important for you.

It is YOUR needs that they will prioritise, not some debtors' rapacious and impossible demands.

I would also say you need to have a complete, expert 'MOT' done on your entire Benefits situation, by a CAB Specialist Benefits Advisor - please note that term.
There will be one of these wonderful peeps in a CAB near you, even if it isn't your own local one, whose heads fizz with all the latest up-to-date Benefits info. and tweakings.

It is essential to have one of these Professor Brainstorm whizzkids pick every one of your Claims apart and have a look at it. You can make an appointment for this.

I'm deeply concerned for you - will be checking back through the rest of the day.

thanks for your concern. i have left another post on here titled enough faffing i need to make a decision or something like that and it will update you on my latest thoughts and decision

Dear homealone - although I praise your courage and your brave words are understood, I feel you need the help, strength and input of one of the organisations spoken of, before ANYTHING else.
Such important decisions should not be made when you are not in top form.
